Christmas tale " Nutcracker and The Mouse King" by the German romantic writer E. Hoffmann was published almost 200 years ago. In Russia, it became famous primarily thanks to the brilliant music of P.I. Tchaikovsky. Everyone knows the magical story about the dreamy girl Marie, her naughty brother Fritz, their godfather Drosselmeyer, who makes unusual toys: And, of course, about his most famous toy - the wooden The Nutcracker, who managed to defeat the Mouse King together with Marie.
"Nutcracker" - a fairy tale about courage and nobility, a terrible curse and love that destroys evil spells. The wooden doll will turn into a handsome Prince, who will take Marie to a wonderful country with a Marzipan castle, ride her along the Almond Milk Lake and show the Candy Meadow. Together with them they will make the journey and the audience: they will visit the magical Doll Country, its capital, Confetenburg, and for a while they will believe that even the most fantastic dreams become reality.
30 minutes before the start of the performance, guests will be greeted by Father Frost, the Snow Maiden and other fairy-tale characters in the historical foyer of the Conservatory. Children will enjoy entertaining games and competitions; they will be able to take pictures with their favorite characters, and then lead a big round dance around the Christmas tree and sing together famous songs about the forest beauty.
