Reserve days for retaking the exam. Is it possible to retake the exam if the threshold is not passed or if the result is not satisfactory. Unified State Exam in Chemistry

If an eleventh grader does not score the minimum required for a positive grade in one of the required subjects (Russian language or mathematics at a basic or specialized level), he can take the exam again. This can be done on the reserve days provided for by the unified exam schedule. And, if successful, the graduate has every chance of entering a university in the year of graduation.

If unsatisfactory result again– you can try to pass the exam again, in additional autumn terms. In this case, there will no longer be a chance of entering a university - but a school leaving certificate (which is not issued in the case of a bad grade in one of the compulsory subjects) will allow you to continue your studies at a college or technical school.

It should be noted that:

  • graduates who do not meet the threshold in two compulsory subjects at once do not have the right to retake the Unified State Exam this year - they will have to continue the struggle to obtain a certificate in a year;

  • if a graduate has passed mathematics at both the basic and specialized levels and has passed the threshold for at least one of these exams, the exam is considered passed;

  • retaking the Unified State Examination in mathematics is possible both at the basic and at the specialized level (at the choice of the examinee);

  • Graduates of previous years do not have the opportunity to retake an exam that they passed unsatisfactorily.

Graduates who do not score the minimum number of points in their elective exams will be able to retake the exam only next year.

Who else has the right to retake the Unified State Exam in additional terms?

Unified State Exam participants who started taking the exam but were unable to complete the test for a valid reason, documented, have the right to retake the exam on reserve days. The most common case is a deterioration in health during the exam (the fact of illness must be recorded by a doctor).

In addition, those who during the exam encountered technical and organizational “overlaps” at the Unified State Examination point (for example, lack of additional forms, power outages, etc.) have the right to retake the exam. In addition, if the organizers of the Unified State Exam committed violations in the conduct of the exam, the results of all participants may be canceled and the tests will have to be repeated.

Note! If a Unified State Exam participant is removed from the classroom for using a phone or caught trying to cheat, his results are canceled, and the right to retake the exam at additional times is not granted - and he will be able to try his luck again only after a year.

Who can improve their exam results this year?

Only graduates of previous years have the opportunity to improve their exam results without waiting for next year - they can retake the Russian language or specialized mathematics in additional autumn terms.

Many people believe that a Unified State Exam participant who has passed the threshold but did not pass the exams well enough can, of his own choice, retake one of the exams in order to improve his scores. Unfortunately, this is a myth - for such cases, the rules for passing the Unified State Exam do not provide for a second attempt.

Is it possible to retake the Unified State Exam in a year?

The right to retake the Unified State Exam for people who have already graduated from school is practically unlimited. After a year, you can retake the Unified State Exam in any number of subjects – both compulsory and elective.

By this time, a former student has already received the status of a “graduate of previous years” and can:

  • improve your result in a single subject by retaking only it (the results of other tests are valid for four years);

  • retake all subjects;

  • change your “profile” and take exams in other disciplines;

  • If the university admissions committee awards additional points for your final essay, you can retake it too.

Graduates of previous years can take exams either in the early or in the main period - at their own choice, but they cannot take exams twice in one year.

Is it possible to retake the Unified State Exam if I have already entered a university?

You can retake the Unified State Exam more than once, regardless of how long ago you graduated from school. This can be done by students, graduates of technical schools and lyceums, and people who already have higher education.

Therefore, if a graduate did not get enough points for admission to the “dream university” and took the documents to a less prestigious educational institution, or was disappointed in the chosen field of study and wants to radically change the field of study, student status will not become an obstacle.

The only “but”: when applying to take the Unified State Exam, a graduate of previous years must present a school leaving certificate - and the original documents are kept at the university. In this case, you need to clarify in advance with the dean’s office what you will need in order to temporarily receive a document on education. As a rule, universities issue original certificates against receipt for a short period of time without any problems. When submitting documents to retake the Unified State Exam, the certificate is not submitted, but only presented - so it is enough to receive it in your hands for just one day.

At the end of each school year, all eleventh-graders in Russia face a serious test - passing the Unified State Exam. Based on the points earned in this way, the future applicant can expect to receive a prestigious place in a particular university.

Most schoolchildren prefer to begin preparing for the upcoming sections of knowledge long before they actually begin. Many are still in 9-10 grade. To do this, the children sign up for tutors, improve those subjects that they do not understand in the usual way, devote more free time to studying, consciously reducing the period of rest and walks with friends.

However, not all graduates can boast of such a positive example of preparatory work - there are also more careless schoolchildren who are unlikely to be able to pass future exams on their own the first time. As a result, they will not score even the minimum number of points.

True, the described situation does not always depend on the knowledge and skills of a particular student. Some may simply become nervous when they find themselves in such a stressful situation. It turns out that even despite lengthy preparation, the Unified State Exam will fail. It is for such cases that the Ministry of Education has established a retake of the exam. For example, in the coming year you can try to pass the Unified State Exam twice.

What to be afraid of in 2017 or the required number of points?

The good news for current eleventh-graders is that the minimum number of Unified State Exam points remains the same. The Ministry of Education decided not to change last year’s parameters so as not to lower the threshold marks.

We remind you that in the Russian language the minimum threshold of required points is 36. By passing the basic level of mathematics with only 3 points, the student can receive the long-awaited high school diploma, while successfully passing the Unified State Examination of mathematics at the profile level is equal to 27 points. Only in this case does the student have every right to apply for admission to a university. The passing score in natural science is 42, history – 32, physics, chemistry and biology – 36, foreign language – 22, computer science – 40, literature – 32; geography – 37.

The certificate issued after passing the tests can be used for the next 3 years. Otherwise, the Unified State Exam will have to be taken again. By the way, a student can add another 10 to the points received on the Unified State Examination - for an average “A” in the certificate, high achievements in physical education and excellent results when participating in scientific conferences, competitions or olympiads.

Who can retake the Unified State Exam?

Before you try your hand at the final level of knowledge again, you should determine who is eligible to retake the Unified State Exam in 2017. It turns out that during the marked period, each student can experience happiness again. In this case, you can retake the indicators of any subject either because of an unsatisfactory grade, or because of scores that do not suit the applicant himself. For example, an 11th grade student scored only 38 points in Russian, while the minimum acceptable standard is 36. Of course, he wants to try to retake the exam, even if he receives a certificate. Most likely, such a student needs more important indicators for future admission to university.

You should also consider when you can retake a particular subject, and what is special about such a procedure. Retaking the Unified State Exam involves a number of the following factors:

Modifications in the Unified State Examination

Today's eleventh-graders will have to take not two mandatory exams, as was the case previously, but three. True, it is not yet clear which discipline the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation chose to assess the knowledge of schoolchildren as a supplement. According to preliminary rumors, this will be history, since the performance of this particular subject is considered the worst among the majority of Russian students. Some people think that soon they will have to take physics without fail. In fact, such information will become available early next year.

Only one thing is clear as day - future graduates will have a hard time, because in addition to the 3 compulsory subjects, they will have to diligently prepare for one more to choose from. If a graduate wants to test his knowledge of computer science, the upcoming exam will be held on a computer. It is assumed that before that time, schools will be able to prepare the necessary base that meets the highest requirements of the ministry.

It only remains to add that there are already rumors about a possible reduction in the test part of the Unified State Exam, while the number of ordinary and detailed questions will be greater. Based on knowledge from the Russian language, the oral part of the exam is conducted.

It is clear that graduates face a very difficult task - to successfully graduate from school and enter a prestigious university. Achieving all this is much easier than it might seem. Only diligent preparation will help achieve the desired results, so it’s time to come to your senses and start working. Just in case, it’s already clear how to retake the Unified State Exam, but you should really hope for additional opportunities. Good luck!

This year, almost 700 thousand people are taking the Unified State Exam. The most popular elective subjects are social studies, physics, history and biology. Who will be allowed to retake the Unified State Exam this year? What has changed in the rules for filling out forms? Why are schoolchildren filing appeals less and less often? The head of Rosobrnadzor, Sergei Kravtsov, answered these and other questions.

Sergey Kravtsov: Hackers attacked the “Watch the Unified State Exam” portal; the attacks were repulsed and did not affect the course of the exam. Photo: Olesya Kurpyaeva / RG

“I am a graduate of this year, I chose three subjects, but I found out that the university where I will be entering also requires physics. Can I write an application for the Unified State Exam now?”, Yulia, St. Petersburg.

Sergey Kravtsov: All universities were required to post on their websites, by October 1, 2016, the items required for admission to a particular specialty. If it now turns out that the university has changed the exams, this is a violation. You need to write an application to the state examination commission of your region (GEC) to include the physics exam in the list of subjects to pass, which will decide whether or not to allow you to take this exam. But in any case, this must be done no later than two weeks before the exam. The Unified State Exam in Physics will be held on June 7, so you are unlikely to have time to take the exam on this day. But on reserve days (June 21 or July 1) it is possible.

“Is it possible to retake the Unified State Exam to improve the result?”, Sergey, Saratov region.

Sergey Kravtsov: The Unified State Exam can only be retaken next year. But compulsory subjects, Russian language or mathematics, are allowed to be retaken this year, but only if the participant has not overcome the minimum threshold in one of these subjects. For example, if one of the exams is passed successfully, but the required minimum is not achieved in the second. If a graduate does not pass both mandatory exams, he will be able to retake them in September. It happens that a student came to an exam, began to write a paper, but for some valid reason was unable to complete it. In this case, the result is considered canceled, and you can retake the exam on a reserve day.

“Will someone who was expelled from the exam be allowed to retake the exam?”, mother of a graduate, Voronezh region.

Sergey Kravtsov: It's better not to let things get to that point. If you were removed for a cheat sheet or a mobile phone, then the graduate will no longer be allowed to retake this year.

“What to do if a person did not come to the exam due to illness?”, Olga, Tambov region.

Sergey Kravtsov: You need to go to where the person wrote the application for the Unified State Exam. Usually this is a school. She, together with the state examination commission of your region, makes a decision and provides the opportunity to take the exam on a reserve day. There are also force majeure circumstances. Last year, during the Unified State Exam, there were power outages and floods in some regions. I want to reassure all exam participants and their parents in advance so that they do not worry. If any technical failures or failures related to natural disasters occur, then each participant who was unable to pass the exam for these reasons will take the Unified State Exam on reserve days. By the way, there are countries where no force majeure circumstances are considered. Couldn't make it to the exam? Come back in a year.

“Can exam organizers answer schoolchildren’s questions about filling out forms?”, Petr Sergeevich, teacher, Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Sergey Kravtsov: Of course, the organizer must provide explanations on the rules for filling out forms. And even during the exam. But he has no right to give advice. Otherwise, the work will be canceled, and the organizer will be punished - up to and including dismissal. There were such cases. As for filling out the forms, this year the “gender” column has disappeared, the number of fields for replacing erroneous answers has been reduced, and a field has appeared where the organizer must note how many replacements of erroneous answers the exam participant made.

Don't agree with the Unified State Exam score? An appeal can be submitted within two working days after the official announcement of the results

“This year I’m taking both levels of mathematics - both basic and specialized. If I pass the basic level, but do not get the minimum score on the profile, will I be allowed to retake it?”, graduate, Torzhok, Tver region.

Sergey Kravtsov: If one of these two exams is passed, then you will not be allowed to retake the other.

“If a student does not agree with the points given, where and to whom should he go?”, Nina Petrovna, Kaluga region.

Sergey Kravtsov: Within two working days after the official day of announcement of the results, you must submit an appeal to the place where the application for the Unified State Exam was written. Usually this is a school. She will immediately transfer the appeal to the conflict commission. Each region has such commissions, and everyone has the right to prove that they are right. We recently held a “100 points for Victory” campaign in Nalchik, when last year’s 100-point students tell current graduates how to successfully pass the Unified State Exam. There was one girl who was given 97 points on the exam, but she was sure that she deserved an even higher mark. The work was revised and given 100 points.

Recently, the number of applications to conflict commissions has decreased. Those guys who filed an appeal just like that, on the off chance: what if the examiners add points, stopped applying? Now all statements are essentially, as a rule, from those who are very confident in their abilities and knowledge.

"Who should have the pass that the Unified State Examination participant receives? Should he take it somewhere during the exam?", Polina, Smolensk.

Sergey Kravtsov: Unified State Exam participants are not given a pass, but a notice telling them where and when to come to take the Unified State Exam. This paper does not need to be submitted anywhere; it is not necessary to bring it to the exam at all. And participants are allowed into the exam using their passports and distribution lists at the exam point.

“Who checks the work of Unified State Exam participants and how?”, Sergei Mikhailovich, father of a graduate.

Sergey Kravtsov: The first part is checked by the computer. Assignments with detailed answers are checked by regional subject commissions. Moreover, each work is checked by two experts. If they do not agree on the assessment, then a third expert is involved.

For many years now, our country has had a system of passing an exam in the form of the Unified State Exam, but despite this, many parents and graduates have a lot of questions every year. One of these issues this year is retaking the Unified State Exam 2017, and what it consists of, that is, what stages it includes.

Features of retake.

First of all, it is worth saying that the composition of subjects that can be retaken has changed to a significant extent. Probably everyone knows about that a few years ago. The list of subjects that could be retaken included only two mandatory exams. This is in the Russian language and mathematics, because without them it is impossible to obtain a certificate of education. But today the situation is completely different, since you can retake absolutely any subject for which you are simply not satisfied with the grade.

How to retake?

Today, there are a large number of independent special centers to which a student has the right to submit an application to retake the chosen discipline. Probably everyone will agree with the opinion that this particular transformation can rightfully be called the most optimal, correct and long-awaited. After all, the student has another additional opportunity and a chance to improve his grade in the subject he needs for admission.

When filling out a special application, it is also necessary to indicate certain information, without which the document you submitted will simply not have any force.

What kind of information and information is this?

    1. The reason why the graduate could not pass the exam along with the rest of his classmates.
    2. A document confirming this reason.

After you have submitted your application, the committee carefully studies and reviews it, and then sets a date for the next examination. Regarding the timing, it is also worth saying that the student has every right to receive special reserve days. What days are these? It is on these days that he is obliged to appear with all the necessary documents and provide them to the commission.

When can I retake?

But retaking the exam is not as simple a step as it seems at first glance, since it is fraught with many pitfalls and features that you also need to know, remember and take into account.

  • First, the list of students for this year. What it is? Currently, a list of students and categories of persons who can be admitted and have the right to retake the exam in the same year has been officially approved and formed by law.

    1. Graduates who have unsatisfactory exam results.
    2. Students who have a valid reason for failure to appear at the state certification exam, which must be documented.
    3. Graduates who, for certain reasons, were unable to complete and fully complete the test work.
    4. Students whose exam results and papers themselves were simply canceled by decision of the certification commission for fairly compelling and weighty reasons.

  • Secondly, retake next year. If, after passing the Unified State Exam, the student and his parents are dissatisfied with the results of the work, and they are sure that the grade was underestimated or the student is capable of great things, then the student has every right to retake it, but only the next year. After all, according to the law, this year he is already strictly prohibited from doing this. In order to set a date and deadline for a retake, the student should write a special application for a retake and submit it to the commission, but no later than March 1. In the event that an unsatisfactory mark is received for the test work, which does not allow you to pass even the established minimum threshold, then a repeat exam is scheduled for the fall. If the results of the re-exam remain unchanged, then the retake is postponed to the next year.

Preparation.

In order to re-pass the exam successfully and improve your grade, you must approach the decision responsibly. In other words, the graduate should not only study in class, but also independently study the chosen subject and repeat all the educational material. For this purpose, there are currently a large variety of additional materials that will help not only prepare, but also identify weaknesses and gaps in knowledge. In other words, on the official website you can find various demo versions on various subjects and solve tasks.

Retaking the 2017 Unified State Examination is a rather responsible undertaking that requires a certain category of knowledge and how to act and behave correctly. But, on the other hand, the student does not have to worry about the fact that his diploma and Unified State Examination certificate will contain an unsatisfactory grade, which may prevent further admission.

According to the law, a graduate of previous years can apply for testing in any region of Russia - regardless of where he is registered and where he completed his education. However, if you are in the same city where you are registered at your place of residence, you will most likely have to submit an application in accordance with your registration, even if you live or work on the other side of the city. However, options are possible: the exact regulations for the operation of registration points for graduates of past years are established by regional educational authorities and may vary slightly in different regions of Russia. That's why, if you plan to take exams at a place other than your place of registration, it is best to call the hotline for Unified State Exam issues in your region and find out where you have the right to submit documents.

Hotline numbers can be found on the official portal ege.edu.ru in the “information support” section. There you will also find links to regional websites dedicated to passing the Unified State Exam. It is on them that “verified” official information about the addresses of points where you can apply to take the Unified State Exam is posted - with contact numbers and opening hours. As a rule, applications are accepted on weekdays, two to three days a week at specially designated hours.

What documents are required to register for the Unified State Exam?

To submit an application you will need to present the following set of documents:

  • document on complete secondary education (original);

  • passport;

  • if in the interval between finishing school and passing the exams you changed your last name or first name - a document confirming this fact (marriage certificate or change of first or last name),

  • if secondary education was obtained in a foreign educational institution - a notarized translation of the certificate into Russian.

There is no need to make copies of documents: after the registration office employees enter all your data into the automated system, the originals will be returned to you.

What you need to know when applying for the Unified State Exam

By the time of your visit to the registration point for graduates of previous years, you must finally decide on a list of items that you plan to take - changing the “set” will be very difficult. While Russian language and mathematics are compulsory for school graduates, this rule does not apply to people who have already completed secondary education: you can only take those subjects that are required for admission to a university.

Decide will you write an essay. For eleventh-graders, obtaining a “pass” in an essay is an indispensable condition for admission to the exams, but graduates of previous years who take the Unified State Exam “of their own free will” are not required to do this - they receive “admission” automatically, based on the fact that they have a certificate. Therefore, it is better to clarify the question about the essay with the admissions committee of the university of your choice: whether its presence is mandatory, whether it can bring you additional points upon admission. If the answer to both questions is “no,” you can safely not include the essay in the list.

If you are planning to take the Unified State Exam in a foreign language– decide whether you will limit yourself to only the written part (which can bring up to 80 points), or whether you will also take the “speaking” part (an additional 20 points). The oral part of the exam is held on a different day, and if you are not faced with the goal of gaining maximum points, you do not have to participate in it.

Select deadlines in which you want to take exams. Graduates of previous years have the opportunity to take exams either on the main dates (in May-June, simultaneously with schoolchildren) or in an early “wave” (March). Choose what is most convenient for you.

How to register for the Unified State Exam for graduates of previous years

The application process is quite simple, but you should not arrive at the registration point 10 minutes before the deadline, especially if you are applying in the last weeks before the deadline: you may have to wait in line for a while.

Documents are submitted in person. To register for exams:

  • you will have to fill out a consent to process personal data and enter it into the AIS (automatic identification system);

  • registration point employees will check your documents and enter your personal and passport data, as well as passport data into the system;

  • you will inform which subjects you plan to take and when, after which an application for taking the exam will be automatically generated indicating the subjects you have chosen and the dates of the exams;

  • you will check the printed application and, making sure that all the data is correct, sign;

  • employees at the registration point will give you a copy of the application with a note about acceptance of documents, a memo for the Unified State Exam participant and will instruct you how and when you will need to appear to receive a pass for the exam.

How much does it cost to take the Unified State Exam for past graduates?

The Unified State Exam is held for all categories of participants, including graduates of previous years, regardless of how many subjects you decide to take. Therefore, the procedure for accepting documents does not imply the presentation of receipts or payment for registration services.

At the same time, in most regions, graduates of previous years can take part in “trial”, training exams, which take place in conditions as close as possible to reality, are assessed according to Unified State Exam standards and allow participants to gain additional preparation experience. This is a paid additional service offered by educational authorities - and you can use it if you wish. However, participation in such “rehearsals” is completely voluntary.
