Dakota: I haven’t seen the Red Room (the filming stage) for two and a half months. Everyone protected me from her. I didn't even see any photographs. When I opened the door for the first time, it was a completely different world. There were whips, restraint structures, a spanking bench made exactly to the shape of my body. It was very cool.

Sam: We left anything that was emotionally difficult or sexual in nature until the final weeks of filming.
