When it's hot in the tank. The Heat festival in Baku has become the main event of the summer. The secret of youth from Sofia Rotaru

The 2nd International Music Festival "Heat" was held on the shores of the Caspian Sea. And, I must say, the name justifies itself: firstly, it was almost 40 degrees outside that day, and secondly, the artists who took part in the opening concert did not rock like a child.

On July 27 at 19:00 the festival participants began walking along the red carpet. During the opening ceremony, a gala concert was held with the participation of famous pop stars.

Popular hits of 2017 were performed. On the first day of the festival, the following performed on stage: Vera Brezhneva, Grigory Leps, EMIN, LOBODA, the MBAND group, Ani Lorak, Valeria, Glyuk'oza, Anita Tsoi, Zhakh Khalib, Max Barskikh, Potap and Nastya, Egor Creed, ILO and others.

Let us remind you that more than 500 guests arrived in Baku to participate in the festival, including artists, musicians, dancers and their accompanying staff.

The second day of the International Music Festival was marked by the anniversary evening of Sofia Rotaru. In early August, on the 7th, the singer will turn 70 years old, but she has already started receiving birthday congratulations.

The concert, as always, was preceded by a red carpet, on which the star guests of the event not only showed off bold outfits, but also answered questions from journalists and shared their impressions of the grandiose event, the ideological inspirers of which are Emin Agalarov, Grigory Leps and Sergei Kozhevnikov.

The concert opened, as expected, with Rotaru, performing for the audience in Ukrainian and Russian several of her hits - “Chervona Ruta”, “Khutoryanka”, “One Kalina”, “You are the best” and more.

“When I hear your applause, I feel happy,” the singer said from the stage, noting that she was very glad to hold the anniversary evening in Baku.

Afterwards, the show business star passed the baton to her colleagues, who presented their versions of the performer’s hits to the assembled audience.

Thus, Natalya Ionova sang the birthday girl’s song “Moon, Moon” for the guests and participants of the “Heat” festival, preparing a memorable number with LED costumes.

It is a great honor for artists to perform at Alla Borisovna’s creative evening, so the third day of the “Heat” festival brought together a real shower of stars: Philip Kirkorov, Maxim Galkin, Kristina Orbakaite, Diana Arbenina, group “Factory”, Valery Meladze, Albina Dzhanabaeva, A'studio, Laima Vaikule and others flew to Baku specifically to perform Pugcheva’s songs.

Today is a special day for me, I think, like for every artist here. Alla taught me a lot, and most importantly - to love. “To love the audience,” said Philip Kirkorov, who that evening presented the audience with his new song “In the Sky.”

The appearance of Kirkorov on the carpet caused the expected excitement and made fans chant in unison: “Philip! Philip! We are waiting! We are waiting.” This particular phrase sounded no coincidence: the most devoted fans waited for the artist at the exit for more than 5 hours.

On the final, fourth day, dedicated to the work of Grigory Leps, another star landing party landed on the shore of the Caspian Sea: Sergey Lazarev, Alexander Marshal, Soso Pavliashvili, the IOWA group, Nargiz and artists from the production center of Grigory Leps.

The hosts of the evening were the permanent Yana Churikova and Maxim Galkin. Over the course of three days at the festival, not only the artists, but also the fans, who met their idols on the track as if they were family, got comfortable: Svetlana Loboda was affectionately called Svetochka, and Gluk’oZa was unanimously greeted with cries of “Na-ta-she-ka!” Of course, it was difficult to resist such a warm welcome, and therefore the artists gladly took pictures with everyone.

BAKU /Trend Life/ - From July 27 to 30, on the coast of the Caspian Sea - at the most beautiful resort of the capital of Azerbaijan, Sea Breeze, the music festival "HEAT-2017" is being held, Trend Life reports.

In this regard, a press conference dedicated to the festival was held at Sea Breeze, in which the organizers of the festival took part - singer and composer Emin Agalarov (EMIN), Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Grigory Leps, founder of Russian Radio and the Golden Gramophone award Sergei Kozhevnikov , as well as famous performers Valeria, Ani Lorak, Glyuk'oza, Anita Tsoi, Svetlana Loboda. Before the press conference, the celebrity guests left their autographs on the poster of the ZHARA festival.

As EMIN noted, this year’s program is twice as extensive as last year’s. “I want to thank my fellow artists who flew in from different countries, interrupted their vacations and tours, in order to perform in my hometown of Baku,” the artist said.

EMIN noted that four amazing days await spectators and festival participants. ""ZHARA" is a festival of friendship, music and joy. Today is our opening day, more than 50 artists will perform the best hits. On the second day we will have an anniversary concert of the stunning Sofia Rotaru. The third day is the evening of Alla Pugacheva, special events await the audience surprises, since everyone knows that she rarely performs now. On the final day on the stage of the festival we will celebrate the anniversary of Grigory Leps,” EMIN said.

“Sofia Mikhailovna Rotaru arrived last night, she is in a great mood. So, the best place to relax in Baku is, of course, the coast of the Caspian Sea,” added EMIN

Sergey Kozhevnikov and EMIN did not disclose details of how they managed to convince Alla Pugacheva to come to Baku.

“Alla Borisovna Pugacheva has not been to Baku for a long time, and for her this is like returning to the past, and at the same time an opportunity to see what the city has become today. So we can say that curiosity was one of the factors,” Kozhevnikov emphasized.

Speaking about the program of performances, Sergei Kozhevnikov said that each hero of the day chose songs that he would sing himself, as well as songs that, in his opinion, could be performed more successfully by certain performers. Of course, the organizers listened to the opinions of the artists.

The organizers also emphasized that this year more than 32 thousand spectators are expected, the festival will also be presented on Channel One (Russia), and it is also planned to broadcast in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

At the press conference, the singers talked not only about creativity, but also about how difficult it is for them to resist gastronomic temptations in Baku and not try delicious dishes of Azerbaijani cuisine.

According to Glyuk’oza, she tasted the most delicious pilaf in Baku. “Even a busy rehearsal schedule and performances will not prevent you from enjoying Azerbaijani dishes,” Glyuk’ozy said.

As Valeria noted, when she comes to Baku, she always tries kutabs with herbs, which can only be tasted here.

“I interrupted my tour ten days before ZHARA, didn’t go anywhere to rest, sat at home, played sports, got enough sleep, and tried to stay in shape. I prepared for 10 days to have a full rest,” said Anita Tsoi.

According to Svetlana Loboda, for artists it so happens that the ZHARA festival is the biggest event, and they treat it in a special way.

“Baku is a city where there is very tasty, hospitable food and always a great atmosphere. There are such amazing memories from last year’s festival that I encouraged all the artists to come here this year. I wish everyone to enjoy the sea, Baku and our star company,” Loboda emphasized .

Ani Lorak noted that she envies everyone who lives in Baku in a stunning atmosphere of beauty.

“The first festival was phenomenal, and this year all the artists wanted to come to Baku for the “HEAT”. Baku is a hospitable city, I adore it. Panoramas of the Caspian Sea and extraordinary oriental flavor are all an integral part of the festival, including its television version, so spectators and television viewers will be able to feel like direct participants in the event. Presenters and artists will appear both on the main stage and other auxiliary stages and in the hall. The organizers tried their best to use all the technical capabilities of the territory to involve viewers in the interactive process.

The annual music festival “ZHARA” was first held in 2016 (July 9-10) and immediately received the status of the most anticipated and discussed summer event. Considering the size of the audience, the festival became the largest musical event in the CIS countries: the event brought together more than 60 of the most popular artists, 10,000 spectators and more than 150,000,000 television viewers in Russia and the CIS! The festival will be remembered for its bright performances, including those on the water, song premieres and a unique atmosphere!

The festival takes place in the capital of Azerbaijan, the city of Baku, a historically colorful and at the same time modern city, where many important international cultural and sporting events have taken place in recent years: Eurovision 2012, Formula 1, European Grand Prix, European Games 2015" and many other significant events. The city, located on the Caspian coast, has always been famous for its friendliness and hospitality, and its sandy beaches still attract both local residents and tourists from far and near abroad. There are also enough historical and cultural monuments in Baku and its surroundings that a visit to the southern capital will leave the most unforgettable impressions.

On July 27, the “Heat” music festival starts in Baku. A grand gala concert with the participation of the brightest Russian artists, creative evenings by Sofia Rotaru, Alla Pugacheva and Grigory Leps - guests of the festival and viewers of Channel One will be treated to a fantastic four-day music marathon. Its creator Emin Agalarov talks about how the idea of this festival originated.

How did the idea of the Zhara festival come about? Why in Baku?

I always dreamed of such a big musical event in my hometown of Baku, but the idea itself was born spontaneously. In my resort village on the shores of the Caspian Sea, Sea Breeze Resort, every summer we held concerts of Russian stars: Grigory Leps, Timati, Leonid Agutin, Craig David and many others. Two years ago, our joint performance with Grigory Viktorovich Leps took place, for which a record number of tickets were sold, where Sergei Kozhevnikov was also present. Seeing the huge interest of the public, the three of us decided to do something more than solo concerts. As a result, we decided to organize a music festival here on the coast. This is an incredible atmosphere that allows you to completely relax and immerse yourself in the celebration of music. In general, people in Baku are very warm and welcome and wait for every artist with great love. This is a special city with its own unique culture and traditions, but at the same time modern, where very significant cultural events take place.

Who came up with such an unexpected name?

The name “HEAT” seemed very harmonious to us for the summer festival

Of course, the festival cannot accommodate everyone who wants to perform. How are the participants selected for “Zhara”? Do you follow your colleagues in the music industry or do you have a completely different concept and are guided purely by personal preferences?

We invite the brightest and most popular artists who are known and listened to by different audiences: these can be young performers at the peak of popularity and legendary, long-loved artists such as Alla Pugacheva, Sofia Rotaru, Grigory Leps and others.

What is the most difficult thing when organizing a festival of this scale?

The most difficult thing is, first of all, logistics. This year we have about 800 people flying: artists and their groups, organizational staff, journalists. Logistics include flights, hotel accommodations, transfers, rehearsal schedules, performances, etc. A very difficult and creative part, since we have many different artists and conceptual days, for which special musical numbers are being prepared. This is a global project, and we are working on it at all levels very carefully.

What moment of last year's first festival do you remember most?

Overall the atmosphere was very festive. From the point of view of special moments of the musical program, the song “Blue Eternity”, by the great Muslim Magomayev, which we performed at the closing of the festival together with Philip Kirkorov, Alexey Vorobyov, Nikolai Baskov and Grigory Leps, as well as the anthem of our festival, written by Maxim Fadeev, who performed by all artists. There was a huge fireworks display.

There are no prizes and competitions; we do not have a competitive basis. But we are planning to make a separate “HEAT” award, which we will hold next year. We can be compared to the biggest music festivals, and, in my opinion, our festival is the hottest.

An event of this level and scope is certainly a very significant cultural event for Baku. However, there are rumors about a possible transfer of the festival to Moscow. Do you plan to continue holding “Heat” in Azerbaijan?

What will the festival program be like this year? What surprises and miracles are you preparing this year? Who will be the highlight of Zhara 2017?

This year the festival will last for four whole days, from July 27 to July 30. We will have special evenings dedicated to the anniversaries of great artists. On the first day there will be a grand opening, where all the performers will sing their brightest hits. On the second day there will be a concert dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Sofia Rotaru. The artists will sing her most famous songs, and she herself will perform a solo program. On July 29, viewers will be treated to a creative evening by Alla Pugacheva with the participation of all the stars, and the last, fourth day of the festival is dedicated to the anniversary of Grigory Leps. In four days we will hear our favorite and new songs, see unique numbers prepared especially for “ZHARA,” new duets and various collaborations. Every day we expect up to 10,000 spectators! We have a fan zone, stalls, and a VIP zone.

Will the “Heat” festival be broadcast on any of the federal TV channels?

Of course, the festival will be broadcast by Channel One, and the hosts will be Yana Churikova, Andrey Malakhov and Maxim Galkin.

All guests were met by the organizer of the festival - artist, businessman and philanthropist Emin Agalarov. For four days, a good hundred artists lit up the stage, danced at evening events, swam in the Caspian Sea, enjoyed the hospitality of Azerbaijan and tasted national dishes. Moreover, three evenings of “Heat” turned out to be “personal”. Two of them were dedicated to the heroes of the day - Grigory Leps and Sofia Rotaru. And another one - Alla Pugacheva, who arrived at the festival, overcoming her fear (but more on that below).

Grand finale of the festival "Heat"

Main outfits

Every day of the festival, a big evening concert began with a red carpet. All the stars tried to outdo each other. So, Glucose boldly changed her outfits, and surprised each time - either with the sophistication or openness of her dresses and suits.
Valeria came to the red carpet one day wearing a transparent cape over a swimsuit, showing off her perfect figure.
Diana Arbenina, whom everyone is used to seeing in leather jackets and sneakers, this time chose a women's tuxedo and stilettos. And Nargiz Zakirova appeared in an outfit that looked like a monk’s, adding a handbag in the shape of a volume of the Bible.

Basque fairy tales

Sophie Kalcheva, who was used to being seen together with Baskov, appeared alone on the track for the first time at “Heat” - despite the fact that Nikolai was also a participant in the festival. The singer finally commented on the upcoming wedding of her ex-fiance with Victoria Lopyreva.

“We broke up with Nikolai a long time ago, we just didn’t advertise it,” Sophie told us. – Every relationship has an ending. This is what we have. Kolya and I remained friends, and he even invited me to his wedding

Nikolai Baskov himself also appeared on the track. The much thinner artist happily took pictures with fans, but answered all the journalists’ questions about his upcoming marriage to the model, which will take place in less than two months, with stubborn silence.

Nikolai Baskov sang with inspiration, but preferred to remain silent about the upcoming wedding

Lolita is on fire!

Lolita in Baku, perhaps, eclipsed everyone. At one of the concerts, the artist appeared in a jumpsuit made from a thin mesh with imitation tattoos. Many stars of Western show business, from Cher to Rihanna, performed in similar outfits at different times. The singer unexpectedly dedicated the song “On the Titanic” to the lead singer of the Rammstein group Till Lindemann, who was a special guest of the event, and took off her cape - and appeared naked on stage in all its glory, making the audience of thousands gasp. At the same time, quite critically assessing her far from thin figure and the likely consequences of her action, leaving the stage, Lolita jokingly told the host of the evening, Maxim Galkin:

The same Lolita outfit that is still discussed today

Maxim, what was lost with your wife has arrived with me! I believe that there should be a lot of good people and I want to remain the only fat woman on our stage

The singer’s outrageous act, of course, did not escape the attention of the Internet community. That same evening, an active discussion of her action began on social networks. Moreover, some praised her - that she was well done, she really was a girl without complexes. Others wrote angry comments. And still others made photoshops from photographs. Moreover, Lolita did not attack their authors or remain silent, but acted quite creatively: she collected the most interesting photo montages and published them with funny comments on her page on one of the social networks.

German hostage "Zary"

As we have already said, the guest of honor of the festival was Rammstein leader Till Lindemann. The musician came to Baku from Germany at the personal invitation of Emin Agalarov. The artist enjoyed taking pictures with Russian artists and rocked the evening events. But, apparently, Svetlana Loboda won his heart. Throughout the entire festival, Till practically did not part with the singer - he invariably appeared at all events with her.
It must be said that it was Svetlana who helped her companion make a very original joke. Till never went on stage, but at the same time he willingly took pictures with everyone. And as soon as numerous photographs of Lindemann hugging pop stars of the Russian scene began to appear on social networks, his fans immediately began to write comments with irony: “Till, aren’t you being held hostage there? Blink if that's the case."

Till Lindemann was very popular among Russian fans, but he gave his heart to Loboda

Without thinking twice, with the help of Svetlana Loboda, the musician shot a short video where he is sitting at a table, holding a piece of paper with the inscription: “HELP!” (“Help!”) and blinks diligently. Svetlana immediately posted this mini-clip on her blog. We hope that Lindemann's fans appreciated the joke.

Conquer fear

Of course, the most anticipated star of “Heat” was Alla Pugacheva. She flew to Baku on a private jet with Maxim Galkin, Kristina Orbakaite and Philip Kirkorov. This whole company went to Azerbaijan the day after Nikita Presnyakov’s wedding. It should be borne in mind that Alla Pugacheva practically does not fly by plane: the diva has aerophobia, and she prefers trains to air transport. The artist even has her own personal carriage, which is attached to the train. But this time Alla Borisovna had to overcome her fear. Otherwise, she would not have had time to come to the “Heat” from her grandson’s wedding - she would have had to sacrifice something. Pugacheva decided to sacrifice herself - and overcame her fear, she boarded the plane. Although the prima donna broke her promise made several years ago that she would not sing again, in recent years she has appeared on stage quite rarely, and therefore each such appearance is already an event.

Alla Pugacheva appeared in truly royal attire

Moreover, after Alla Borisovna abandoned her traditional robes, everyone is wondering what outfit the star will wear on her next appearance. And this time the singer did not disappoint: she came to the microphone in an airy pink dress. On top there was a ribbon with improvised orders. The dress was made by designer and stylist Alisher. He is fully responsible for changing Pugacheva’s image, and it was with his light hand that oversized robes became a thing of the past.

The secret of youth from Sofia Rotaru

One evening of the festival was entirely dedicated to Sofia Rotaru. And for good reason - after all, the singer turned 70 years old. True, looking at the People's Artist of the USSR, in no case will you give her that many years. Sofia Mikhailovna flew to Baku accompanied by a powerful “support group”: her sister Aurika, son Ruslan, daughter-in-law Svetlana and 16-year-old granddaughter Sonya arrived with her at the Zhara festival.

Sofia Rotaru and journalist Vadim Vernik at the Zhara festival

Nobody calls me grandmother,” the artist said from the stage. — In our family there is Sonya the eldest and Sonya the younger. And I have never heard my grandchildren call me grandmother. What is the secret of my youth? In love. I love life, I love my loved ones, I love my viewers!

At the end of the festival, Emin Agalarov promised that next year there will be even more stars and more “Heat”.
