Easy drawings for Valentine's Day. How to Draw a Valentine: Ideal Methods for Beginners and More. Valentines made from paper and cardboard

I am glad to see everyone here, hello, my dear guests and friends! Today I will remind you again that a romantic, bright holiday is rapidly approaching - February 14th. It's time to start preparing gifts for your loved ones, family and friends. As you know, the best gifts are those made with your own hands, imbued with emotions of love and joy. I would like to talk to you about how to draw a Valentine, because fine art does not always have a great relationship, but I would like to give such a gift.

How to draw a Valentine with a pencil step by step

Before you start drawing a valentine, prepare the necessary materials:

  • a simple pencil;
  • paper or thicker cardboard;
  • markers;
  • colour pencils;
  • paints.

Additionally, you can use sparkles and beads for decoration. They are well attached with glue, but before you start planning the decor, practice drawing your favorite valentine several times.

I suggest you make an original postcard with two cats in love looking at the moon. The drawing is actually quite simple to do. Do it, repeating it step by step and the result will not disappoint.

In the process, experiment with colors, change the signature, add personality to the proposed layout.

If you want to practice with a simpler option, where there are not many details, take a closer look at this option.

At first glance it seems simple and even naive. Such a valentine, drawn on a simple sheet of paper, complemented by warm words addressed to a loved one, will be a good holiday gift.

It can be done not only in the form of a drawing, but also to create a real application. It is enough to first draw a heart, then cut it out, add butterflies, which have long been considered symbols of love. Place the cut out parts on a separate sheet, poster, add bright colors and wishes.

Original cards for Valentine's Day

When planning to give your loved one a Valentine's card, you don't have to draw a heart. Of course, this is a symbol of the holiday to which everyone is accustomed. Get a little creative and make a cute animal card. Most often, such postcards depict kittens and puppies. Many may find it difficult to draw an animal in detail.

Simplify your task by depicting an animal in a hat or vase - this will allow you to cheat a little. A hat or other object is much easier to draw. All that remains is to figure out the features of the image of a cute face.

I have prepared an example for you that fits the theme of the holiday. Apply the drawing to the future postcard, make an applique. Don't forget to add a lot of bright colors and warm wishes. There is no need to be afraid that such a gift will look naive; the main thing is that it makes the person smile, once again making sure of the sincerity of your feelings.

Images of a heart with a daisy are another option suitable for the holiday. There is nothing difficult about drawing such an image. First, draw a heart, then add a chamomile. It can have different sizes and different shapes. Add a few hearts, words of congratulations, a declaration of love and start coloring the image. Play with bright, rich colors to create a festive mood on this February day.

Touching, sometimes funny and even naive hearts, drawn with your own hands, will be the best declaration of feelings. You can put sincerity and warmth into every work - this is something that no amount of money can buy. Get ready for the holiday, share my ideas on social networks and don’t forget to stop by for a visit! See you soon!

Sincerely, Anastasia Skoracheva

    I think that on a valentine it is best to draw what you feel. Your love for the person to whom the valentine will belong. Everything that is connected with love. Cupid, hearts, bunnies, bears, cats, etc.

    You can draw literally anything on a Valentine's card.

    Depends on who exactly you are going to give it to (boyfriend, girlfriend, sister, brother, parents, teachers, etc.).

    The most popular nowadays, of course, are valentines for your beloved other half. After all, the holiday is Valentine's Day)

    The very first thing you can decorate valentines with is hearts.

    Different sizes, colors and shapes.

    You can also draw a beautiful prankster Cupid with arrows :)

    I previously answered questions about how to draw it:

    1. How to draw a small cupid with a pencil step by step?
    2. How to draw Cupid with arrows of love for Valentine's Day?

    There are good examples and photo diagrams :)

    In general, draw whatever your heart desires and whatever your imagination is capable of :)

    Happy belated everyone!

    It’s very easy to draw a Valentine’s card, I asked a similar question here.

    The main attributes are all possible and impossible hearts, Cupid Angels, red-pink flowers and animals with hearts.

    You can color the card with paints, felt-tip pens and crayons; techniques such as quilling, embling and scrapbooking will help to add more volume.

    Go for it and you will succeed ;)

    On Valentine's Day, it is better and customary to draw hearts, doves, and balls on a Valentine's card; all drawings must be in red.

    For any holiday, you can draw flowers on cards (Valentines), but for Valentine's Day you need to draw red roses, a symbol of love.

    Since we make Valentine’s cards ourselves, and, moreover, individually for a specific person, you shouldn’t limit your imagination, because random people are unlikely to see this masterpiece and then will look at you askance)

    You need to start from your relationship (how far it has gone).

    You can draw a bunny with a signature to my Bunny

    You can draw Cupid (Cupid) with the caption I was hit by an arrow

    You can draw your common cartoon, where you are happy lovers with a heart:

    The most commonplace option is a heart:

    Hearts for Valentine's Day are, of course, a hit. To them you can add love birds, fluttering butterflies, a loving couple, a heart with an arrow, kisses. Love gives wings - so give your Heart wings on Valentine’s Day. You don’t have to bother and buy a ready-made Valentine’s card with the design you like.

    On a Valentine's card for Valentine's Day, you can draw pictures symbolizing love. For example, these could be hearts, or angels (cupids), a couple of doves.

    Hearts can be drawn as shown in the picture:

    Let's draw a rose step by step:

    You can do some abstract drawing:

    And here are these cute little animals:

    Drawing depends entirely on imagination, the ability to draw and the desire to convey something along with the drawing. The drawing expresses a message for Valentine's Day.

    In addition to the drawing, a romantic inscription is made.

    Someone will be very pleased to receive a gift in the form of a valentine with a drawing made by themselves. In addition to the drawing, you can also make an application:

    On a Valentine's Day card, in my opinion, it is best to draw some of the symbols of this holiday of all lovers.

    And these are hearts, flowers (roses in particular), doves, cupids with wings and their weapons - bows and arrows, cheerful butterflies, maybe lovers themselves, as well as various cute little animals.

    If you decide to make a Valentine card with your own hands, then you definitely need to draw and sign something on it. You can draw anything related to this holiday of love, for example, a heart, lovebirds, roses (or other flowers), a butterfly, etc.

    You can depict a heart with wings.

    Step-by-step instructions on how to draw it and other hearts with wings can be found here.

Now we will draw another greeting card for Valentine's Day. We already have lessons on step-by-step drawing of several cards for this wonderful and long-awaited holiday. You will find them on our website. And now we want to teach you how to draw a holiday card decorated with the symbols of this holiday - bright red hearts. So, grab a pencil and start creating a gift for your loved one!

Stage 1. Our postcard will be in the shape of a quadrangle and follows the contour of the sheet of paper itself. First, let's make an outline - a frame for the future drawing. Along the entire sheet of paper, slightly stepping back from the edge by about 2-3 cm, using a ruler, draw straight lines that converge at their ends in two opposite corners and do not converge in the other two.

Stage 2. Now on the right side of the drawing we draw the lines of three hearts. One is the largest, another is medium-sized and the third is the smallest. The hearts are located one above the other and seem to be slightly scattered to the sides.

Stage 3. The next step is to draw two more hearts. They are located in front of the first three. One of them is the largest, the other is smaller, located under it and slightly lower.

Stage 4. On the largest heart we make a beautiful inscription Love, and on top of the hearts we draw various cool curls that create a beautiful frame.

Stage 5. Now we must draw the same wavy lines, curls and various patterns in front of the lower heart, placing them to the side along the length of the sheet.

Stage 6. Draw additional curls above the group of previous ones from stage 5.

Stage 7. Draw additional curls on the other side, between the three lower hearts and above them like ponytails.

Stage 8. And now is the most pleasant and creative moment. We start coloring our congratulatory picture. We paint the hearts in red, pink, or orange colors. The background of the picture can be made pale pink. In general, you can make the background at your discretion, as you like. We highlight curls and various patterns in black and red.

Craft ideas for home decoration

To create a special festive atmosphere in the house, special decorations are needed. Of course, now they are easy to find on store shelves, but it’s much nicer and more interesting to make them yourself. We offer you craft ideas for decorating your home for Valentine's Day.

Garlands are one of the simplest and most effective ways to decorate your home. On the holiday of dedicated love, it is customary to make them in the shape of hearts from paper of different shades of pink. Check out these options for making garlands:

This option is easy to do if you know how to sew on a typewriter: cut out hearts of different shapes from colored paper (it’s better to use printer paper), and then sew them on a typewriter one after another. You can hang them as shown in the picture, or you can hang them from wall to wall - in this case, the line should go across the heart.

In childhood, chain garlands were made in this way for the New Year, but we suggest making them simpler and in the shape of hearts. You will need:

  • colored paper;
  • scissors;
  • stapler

Cut the paper into strips 10-15 cm long and 1-2 cm wide. Fold each in half, now take a stapler and use it to connect the ends of the strips, bending them slightly inward. You will get a heart. Then insert another strip and connect in the same way. This way you will make a long and beautiful garland.

A wreath will be a beautiful craft for your home on February 14th. It can be hung both on the front door and on the walls indoors. Of course, such wreaths are made in the shape of hearts.

This version of the wreath is very simple and does not require any expensive materials or skill. Just take some thick cardboard and cut a ring out of it. Then take sheets of red and pink paper and cut out lots of hearts from them. Bend each heart in half to create a voluminous wreath. Now glue them onto the ring using a glue stick.

This heart is made in a similar way.

You can make an excellent craft from cardboard and threads and decorate your interior with it. Cut out a heart from cardboard as shown in the photo. Take a thick thread or red yarn and secure its end to the heart. Start wrapping. Gradually you will get such a voluminous heart. It will look even more interesting if you take threads in two shades of red.

Children will really like this candy wreath.

How do you like this wreath of hearts?

On Valentine's Day, the house is decorated with all kinds of hearts, and a heart-shaped one will most likely live in your home for more than one day.

  4. Now wrap the heart and balloon with paper tubes, as shown in the photo, securing the structure with glue.
