The history of the Russian rock band Nautilus Pompilius, born in the Soviet city of Sverdlovsk, is partly a reflection of the sad history of the Russian community. In fact, the meeting of the two young musicians who were at the origins of the creation of the group, Vyacheslav Butusov and Dmitry Umetsky, took place several years earlier, and therefore, this year they could well celebrate the fortieth anniversary of their creative collaboration, if their paths periodically did not run off into their own ruts. The thirty-fifth anniversary of the birth of the group coincides with the twentieth anniversary of the official collapse of the Nautilus Pompilius group, which became a very sad event among fans of the rock group. Despite the periodic conflicts that arose among the musicians of the group over the fifteen years of their life, the reason for which was, for example, different views on the system of remuneration of individual members of the group, or a divergence of opinions regarding the musical genre, provoking the departure of a number of musicians from the group, the search for new musicians for replacing those who had left, the need for additional time to “grind in” with each other, the rock group “Nautilus Pompilius” took its rightful place among the popular Russian rock groups. Twelve studio albums, the first of which, “Moving,” was released a year after the official designation of the rock band in the Russian musical space, and therefore in the current (2018) we can also celebrate the Thirty-fifth Anniversary of the release of the first studio album of the rock band “Nautilus Pompilius”, and the last one, which had a very symbolic name - “Atlantis” - in the year of the rock band’s collapse (more precisely, there were two farewell albums, the second is called “Yablokitai”), continue to delight fans of the rock band to this day. However, no recording can compete with the live performance of songs by artists on a concert stage. The protracted celebration of the Thirty-fifth Anniversary of the rock group “Nautilus Pompilius” will continue with a live performance of the temporarily reunited group next year under the slogan “35 years for an encore”. The concert is scheduled for Saturday evening on the twenty-third of March, at the capital’s concert venue “GlavClub Green Concert”.
