Happy child 27.11.2016

Dear readers, New Year and happy holidays are coming soon. I suggest preparing for them in advance! Today on the blog we have made for you a selection of New Year's games for children. What to play with the whole family? What to do with kids of different ages? How to properly organize the playing space? What secrets exist in this matter? We will try to find answers to these and other questions in the article.

The presenter of the column, Anna Kutyavina, will share her thoughts and ideas for games for the New Year for children. I give her the floor.

Hello, dear readers of Irina’s blog! Do you feel what the frosty air outside the window smells like? Snow, Christmas tree, tangerines... Although according to the calendar there is still a whole month until the most anticipated holiday of the year, many of us already have the expectation of a miracle in our souls. After all, on New Year's Eve, not only our children, but also we ourselves often make our most cherished wishes, sincerely believing that they will certainly come true! And from January 1, as in a fairy tale, a new life will begin...

So, are we starting to prepare for the festive fun? In order not to sit out the last hours of December on the Internet, frantically searching for new ideas for games, let's take important steps towards a joyful New Year right now. As long as there is time, strength, energy and desire. And there are a lot of delicious and unusual ideas for fun! Go?

For your convenience, we have divided all the games into age categories. This will make it easier for you to navigate and choose what is best for your child. There are games near the Christmas tree, games with rhymes, New Year's musical games. A separate category includes games for the whole family - a creative space in which there is a place for everyone: moms and dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and kids!

New Year's games for children under 2 years old

Let's start looking at the fun with the littlest heroes of the holiday. Typically, children begin to actively engage in simple games from the age of 1.5-2 years. For even younger toddlers, we offer only the simplest things: round dances around the Christmas tree in mother’s arms; funny rhymes and songs with parents. We remember that infants should under no circumstances be overloaded with emotions, including positive ones! The “Christmas tree” for such children lasts no more than half an hour, and we certainly look at the child’s condition. If he is tired, we give him time to rest.

It’s great if mothers love to sing, write poems and fairy tales. It's time to fantasize and little by little include the baby in the creative process. The main thing is the emotional involvement of parents, the desire to play and create. Even with one-year-olds, you can make small crafts together, glue together a New Year's toy - boots from two cardboard parts, and then paint them with colored sparkles. The baby just sits in his mother’s arms, and the mother does everything herself using the “hand in hand” method. Then the toy is solemnly hung on the Christmas tree, and each guest is told who made such beauty. And everyone is happy and satisfied.

It’s good for kids to play short New Year’s songs to which they can clap their hands, stomp their feet, and twirl their butts. Remember first of all about safety precautions: if there is a toddler in the house, the Christmas tree should not stand on the floor, especially not hung with glass toys and garlands with lights.

New Year's games and competitions for children from 2 to 6 years old

Now we move on to the most “grateful” age. Preschoolers love games and fun; they are active and sociable. We present to your attention a selection of games for preschoolers:

Game "Guess the gift"

Place many different items and toys in a large bag. Invite your child to determine by touch what came into his hand. If the child guesses the name of the item, he receives a gift.

Game "Owl and animals"

One driver is selected - “owl”. The rest of the children show various animals: birds, mice, butterflies, frogs, bunnies, etc.
The driver gives the command: “Day!” - and all the “animals” run and jump merrily. On the second command: “Night!” - everyone freezes and doesn’t move. The owl flies to “hunt”. Anyone who laughs, moves, or changes position becomes the owl's prey.

Game “It’s boring to sit like this...”

We seat the children on chairs near one wall. The presenter reads the poem:

It's boring, it's boring to sit like this,
Looking at each other.
Isn't it time to go for a run?
And change places?

With these words, the children quickly run to the opposite wall, trying to occupy the free chairs. There are one fewer chairs than players. The one left without a chair is eliminated from the game. The chairs are also removed one by one. The game is repeated until the winner takes the last chair.

Game "Fox and Hares"

Children move according to instructions in the text:

Along the forest lawn
The bunnies ran away.
These are the bunnies
Running bunnies.
(Children-bunnies run around the hall)
The bunnies sat in a circle,
They dig the root with their paw.
These are the bunnies
Running bunnies.
(“The bunnies” sit down and “dig” roots)
Here is a fox running -
Red-haired sister.
Looking for where the bunnies are,
Running bunnies.

(The fox runs between the kids. When the song ends, she catches up with the kids).

Game "Winter Mood"

The presenter reads poems, and the children answer: “true”, “false”.

1. Bloomed amidst the frost
There are large roses on the pine tree.
They are collected in bouquets
And they give it to the Snow Maiden. (Wrong)

2. With Snow Maiden Snowman
I'm used to visiting children.
He loves to listen to poems
And then eat candy. (Right)

3. Santa Claus melts in winter
And under the Christmas tree he gets bored -
What was left of him was a puddle;
On holidays it is not needed at all. (Wrong)

4. In February on New Year's Eve
Good Grandfather is coming,
He has a big bag
Full of noodles. (Wrong)

5. Toadstools do not grow in winter,
But they do roll sleds.
Children are happy with them -
Both girls and boys. (Right)

6. Come to us from hot countries in winter
Miracle butterflies are flying
Snowy warm times
They want to collect nectar. (Wrong)

7. A glorious New Year's holiday
Main cactus for kids -
It's green and prickly
Christmas trees are much cooler. (Wrong)

8. There are snowstorms in January,
Decorating the spruce with snow.
Bunny in his white fur coat
Jumps boldly through the forest. (Right)

Relay game "Fish"

The leader divides the children into 2 teams. Each team receives a small fishing rod with a hook.

Near each team there is a large blue hoop - a “pond”. In the pond there are toy fish with loops at the mouth, according to the number of participants. To the rhythmic music, the captains go to the pond, hook a fish with a fishing rod, and put it in the buckets of their teams. Then the fishing rod is passed on to the next participant. The winner is the team that finishes fishing first.

And what would a holiday be without music? Pick it up in advance, music always creates a festive atmosphere. And children always like such musical games.

Game "Round dance around the Christmas tree"

The simplest and favorite fun for kids! Turn on a funny song: “The little Christmas tree is cold in winter” or “A Christmas tree was born in the forest,” and go ahead!

Game "Snowball in a Spoon"

2 players participate at the same time. They are given a spoonful in their mouth, with a cotton snowball in the spoon. At a signal, children run in different directions around the tree. The winner is the one who comes running first and whose snowball remains in the spoon.

Game “Around the Christmas tree in bags”

2 children play at a time. They stand with their feet in the bags, supporting the top of the bags with their hands. At the signal, players scatter in different directions around the tree. The fastest one wins. Then the next pair plays.

Game “We are funny kittens”

The presenter turns on cheerful music. Children break into pairs and dance.
The presenter says: “We are funny kittens,” and the couples are separated. Each one shows a dancing kitten.

It is also very good to offer children various winter riddles. Children enjoy reciting poems and singing songs to Grandfather Frost. And they love to receive gifts.

Let's watch a video of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden playing various interesting games with children! There are a lot of ideas here.

Games for children 6-10 years old

Children of this age can be offered a wide variety of New Year's games, including musical games, dancing, relay races, and riddles. Various production of crafts and Christmas tree decorations are also great. Imagine and get involved!

Game "New Year's Castle"

Several people play. First, they are invited to carefully study the drawn drawing of the New Year's castle. Then everyone receives a set of plastic cups. The players are blindfolded. They get to work.

The participant who reproduces the drawing most accurately and quickly wins the competition.

Game "Tangerine Football"

Children are divided into 2 teams. Tangerines are laid out on the table. Players use two fingers to try to score a goal for the opposing team.

Game "The most accurate snow shooter"

Participants try to hit a target with snowballs - a target, or a bucket, basket, large box. The most accurate shooter wins the competition.

Game "Winter Wind"

Players sit at the table and try to blow a paper ball, a ball of cotton wool or a paper snowflake onto the floor.

Games near the Christmas tree and musical games

Game "Decorate the Christmas tree"

Children are divided into 2 teams. Near each of them, the presenter places a box with unbreakable Christmas tree decorations.

Not far from the teams there are two decorated artificial Christmas trees. Children take turns taking one toy from the box, run to their team’s Christmas tree, hang the toy on it and run back. The game continues until the last player. The team that decorates the Christmas tree first wins.

Game "Cap"

Children stand in a circle. Cheerful music is turned on. Players begin passing the New Year's hat around in a circle. When the music stops, the one who still has the cap in his hands puts it on his head and completes the task of Grandfather Frost.

Family games

When a large family gathers at the holiday table, it's time to play fun family New Year's games. They perfectly unite representatives of different generations, and the connection between loved ones becomes even closer and deeper. Also, such games can be offered to groups of teenagers and adults.

Game “Making a Snowman”

To play, you need softened plasticine. Two players sit next to each other at the table. The left hand of one participant and the right hand of another work as the hands of one person, making a snowman. It is not simple! But it really unites! It's great if each couple has children and adults.

Game "Slipper for Cinderella"

All participants in the game put their shoes in a pile. Players are blindfolded. The presenter mixes the shoes into a pile and commands: “Come on, find your shoe!” Each participant, blindfolded, looks for his own pair of shoes and puts on his shoes. The one who completes the task first is the winner.

Game "Cinderella"

Two participants are required. Everyone is blindfolded and told to dismantle their slide. Peas, beans, nuts, dried rowan, and other ingredients are mixed in slides. Blindfolded participants sort the fruits into groups.

Game "Snow Mission"

You need to take a small ball, or make a “snowball” of cotton wool. The participants of the game stand in a circle. The “snowball” is passed around in a circle.

The presenter says:

We're all rolling a snowball,
We all count to five.
One two three four five -
Sing a song for you!

Whoever has a “snowball” in his hands at the last phrase fulfills this wish. The last phrase changes: “Let’s dance for you!”, “And read poetry for you!”, “Tell you a fairy tale!” and so on.

And here’s another very interesting game for the whole family for the New Year. I suggest watching the video.

New Year's karaoke

What would it be like to celebrate the New Year without songs? Select in advance a list of “cons”, such as:

- "The Forest Raised a Christmas Tree",
- "Three White Horses"
- “The ceiling is icy, the door is creaky,”
- “The little Christmas tree is cold in winter”
- "Five minutes",
- "Blue frost",
- “Song about bears”, etc.
Turn on and have fun singing with the whole family!

Dance game "Locomotive"

Adults and children stand in a column, placing their hands on the waist of the previous dancer. And the locomotive starts moving!

Our games are suitable for organizing a fun space at home, as well as for matinees and corporate events. Some can even be played outside.

Merry New Year songs

Fun around the New Year tree, decorated with tinsel, garlands and toys - such a holiday will probably delight any child. Games and competitions will make the celebration even more interesting. Relax.by knows what competitions and fun to arrange for children to make the holiday unforgettable.

New Year's competitions for preschool children

Round dance around the Christmas tree
To interest the youngest players, you need to try: kids lose interest very quickly if the activity does not catch their attention. In such a situation, round dances around the Christmas tree will save you. This is a win-win option that kids of all ages love. Usually round dances are performed to the song “The little Christmas tree is cold in winter” or “A Christmas tree was born in the forest.”

Game “What types of Christmas trees are there?”
The presenter (the Snow Maiden or Father Frost can act in his role) says:
- Look how elegant our Christmas tree is: all covered in beautiful toys and garlands. Guys, do you know where Christmas trees grow? Of course, in the forest! Christmas trees can be different: wide and thin, high and low.
Next, the presenter must explain the rules of the game:
- Guys, stand in a circle and take each other’s hands, and I will tell you what Christmas trees are like. If I say, “High,” you should raise your hands up, and if you hear, “Low,” you should sit down and lower your hands. If I mention wide Christmas trees, I need to make the circle wider. And if I say, “Thin,” you should make the circle narrower. Is everyone clear? One-two-three, let's start!

Music game
(to the tune of the song “Good Beetle” from the fairy tale film “Cinderella”)
1. Stand up, children, stand in a circle, stand in a circle, stand in a circle! Clap your hands without sparing your hands! Jump like bunnies: jump and jump, jump and jump! Now stomp, not sparing your feet!
2. Let’s grab our hands quickly, cheerfully, raise our hands up, and jump higher than everyone else! We will lower our hands down, stamp our right foot, stamp our left foot and turn our heads!
The game is repeated 2 more times.

Game "Dress up the Christmas tree"
Children are divided into two teams. Each has a box of Christmas tree decorations (preferably unbreakable). The essence of the game is that players must decorate an artificial Christmas tree, which is located at a distance from the teams. The child must take a toy from the box, run to the Christmas tree, hang the toy on it and return to his team. And so on until the last player. The team whose tree is decorated first wins.

Game "Cat and mouse"
Three players from the team are dressed up in cat costumes and given a stick with a long rope attached to it. A fake mouse is attached to the opposite end of the rope. Players, accompanied by cheerful music, wind a rope around a stick, and gradually the mouse approaches. The most agile cat, the one who managed to “catch” the mouse faster than the others, wins.

Games for primary schoolchildren 6–10 years old

Game "Christmas tree chants"
The presenter speaks quatrains, and the children shout out the words of each final line in chorus.

Looks good in her outfit
The kids are always happy to see her,
There are needles on its branches,
He invites everyone to a round dance... (Christmas tree)

Is on the New Year's tree
A laughing clown in a cap,
Silver horns
And with pictures... (checkboxes)

Beads, colored stars,
Painted miracle masks,
Squirrels, cockerels and pigs,
Very sonorous... (crackers)

A monkey will wink from the Christmas tree,
The brown bear will smile,
The little bunny hangs from cotton wool,
Lollipops and... (chocolates)

Old Boletus Man,
Next to him is a snowman,
Red fluffy kitten
And the big one on top... (bump)

There is no more colorful outfit:
Multi-colored garland,
Gilding tinsel
And shiny... (balls)

A bright foil flashlight,
The bell and the boat
Train and car,
Snow-white... (snowflake)

The Christmas tree knows all the surprises
And he wishes everyone fun.
For happy kids
Lights up... (lights)

Game "Who's first?"
Agility competition. First, hang a winter jacket with the sleeves turned out on the backs of two chairs, and put a fur hat, scarf and a pair of mittens on the seats. During the competition, players must turn out the sleeves of their jackets to cheerful music, then put them on and the rest of their winter equipment (hat, scarf and mittens). The prize will be given to the one who is the first to take a seat in his chair and shout: “Happy New Year!”

New Year's competition “Mask, I know you!”
Of all the guys, you need to choose only one player. The presenter puts a mask on him. Moreover, the player should not see whose mask he is wearing. The rest see what kind of hero this is. The player wearing the mask must guess who is depicted on it. He asks questions to other children and gets hints from them. Questions can only be answered “yes” or “no”. The person who guesses it correctly is given a mask as a prize.

Competition "Tinsel"
Competition-competition for two teams. As a prop, the presenter gives each child tinsel. A New Year's song is playing, for example Jingle Bells. To the music, in each team the first participant ties his tinsel in a knot on the hand of the second participant, then the second - on the hand of the third, and so on. The last player runs to the first and ties tinsel to him - it turns out to be a circle. The winner is the team whose members completed the task before their opponents and raised their hands with tied tinsel.

Game "Doctor Aibolit"
It's a team game again. This time the players line up. Doctor Aibolit wants to know: did anyone have a fever during the New Year holiday? The fairy-tale hero places a large cardboard thermometer under the armpits of the first participants of both teams. At this time, cheerful music plays. The second players must take the thermometer and put it on themselves, then the third players take the thermometer from them, and so on until the last child in the line. In the same way, the thermometer moves in the reverse order: from the last players to the first. The team whose first player returns the thermometer to Dr. Aibolit the fastest wins.

Competition "Christmas tree toy"
In front of the two players, the presenter places a prize wrapped in bright wrapping paper on a chair and says the following text:
“At New Year's hour, friends,
You can't go without attention!
Don't skip the number "three"
Take the prize, don't yawn!

The Christmas tree greeted the guests.
Five children came first,
So as not to be bored on holiday,
Everyone began to count on it:
Two snowflakes, six firecrackers,
Eight gnomes and parsleys,
Seven gilded nuts
Among the twisted tinsel,
We counted ten cones,
And then you got tired of counting.
Three little girls came running..."
If the players missed the prize, the presenter takes it and says: “Where were your ears?” If one of the players turns out to be attentive, the presenter concludes: “Those are attentive ears!”

Game "New Year's Changelings"
Santa Claus says phrases, and children must answer “yes” or “no” in unison, regardless of the rhyme.

You friends came here to have fun?
Tell me a secret: were you waiting for Grandfather?
Will frosts and cold scare you?
Are you ready to dance by the Christmas tree sometimes?
A holiday is nonsense, let's get bored instead?
Santa Claus brought sweets, will you eat them?
Are you always ready to play with the Snow Maiden?
Can we easily push everyone around?
Grandfather never melts. Do you believe this?
Do you need to sing a verse in a round dance at the Christmas tree?

Competition “Make Nesmeyana Laugh”
For the competition, you need to prepare the details in advance: funny masks, false noses, ears.
Princess Nesmeyana knows where the Snow Maiden is hidden, but cannot reveal the secret to the children, as she constantly cries. The contestants' task is to make her laugh with funny movements and dances. To complement a bright image, children can use funny props.

For children from 10 years old

New Year's Costume Competition
For this competition you will need the following props: paper (large enough - at least A4), tape, pins, scissors and glue.
In a certain time (say, 10 minutes) you need to come up with and make a New Year's costume. The task is complicated by the fact that it is necessary to have time not only to make an outfit, but also to present it to the public, tell what exactly it means and what it serves (for example, is it an evening outfit or a fancy dress). The jury evaluates the result with applause. The team that earns the loudest and longest standing ovation wins.

Competition "Ball with a surprise"
You need to write funny New Year's tasks on sheets of paper, place notes in balloons, and then inflate them. Each participant should be given a ball with a task. You have to burst it without using your hands. When the participant copes with this, he will need to complete the written task (for example, sing a song, dance the dance of little swans, etc.). The one who makes it the funniest will win.

Competition "New Year's Chain"
For this competition you should prepare A4 sheets, a glue stick and scissors. Two teams must take part. Within a certain time (5-7 minutes), participants must cut strips (3 cm wide and 12 cm long) and then connect them into a New Year's chain. The team that makes the longest chain wins.

  • 01 Remember that children switch their attention very quickly. Therefore, competitions should not be made too long.
  • 02 You should not hold several competitions at once. Dilute them with a dance program or concert numbers.
  • 03 Be sure to reward and encourage winners.

The most vivid impressions of the holiday, as a rule, are associated with games, fun activities, various funny “dress-up” and gifts. That is why everyone loves it so much when there is all this in abundance, when favorite games are played by favorite fairy tale characters, when they are showered with gifts, when they especially believe in miracles and fairy tales, because everyone on this holiday can reincarnate themselves into the hero of a fairy tale: Baba Yaga, Bogatyr or Thumbelina.

We offer our collection - New Year's games for children's parties, which can be held at a family holiday or a matinee organized in a kindergarten or school. The organizer of these entertainments can be Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, the hosts of the holidays or parents.

New Year's game "Magic Chairs"

For this game, the chairs are arranged alternately with seats left and right. They seat the children on them and explain to them that when Santa Claus approaches any of them and touches him with his magic staff, he must stand up, grab Frost’s waist and repeat all his movements.

So after a couple of minutes, Santa Claus forms a rather impressive “tail” of boys and girls. Following the “prankster” Frost, children squat, jump, waddle and perform other funny movements.

But Grandfather, in a thunderous voice, notifies the children that now they must each quickly return to their place. And, by the way, he was in a hurry to take one of the chairs, so that while the kids were figuring out who was sitting where, there was no longer enough space for one of them. This child is out of the game. So that the baby does not get upset, the Snow Maiden should give him a small sweet prize and explain that soon another of his comrades will be left without a chair (the fact is that with each round one of them should quietly disappear from the row of chairs).

It is not at all necessary to bring the matter to one winner; four to five rounds are enough. You can sing a funny song with those children who “survived.”

Game "Throw the Snowball"

This little competition can be hosted by one of the fairy-tale characters or Father Frost and the Snow Maiden themselves. To do this, they will need a regular hoop for gymnastic exercises, entwined with Christmas tree tinsel. A mountain of cotton wool snowballs is placed nearby. It is better to divide the “snowballs” in half. Children will be taken from these two piles, and we will also divide them into two teams.

Their task: take a “snowball” from a “snowdrift” and, stopping at a special mark, try to throw it inside the hoop. The winner is not the team whose members throw the snowball into the hoop the fastest, but the one that hits the hoop the most times.

Game for children's party "Find a New Year's gift"

No more than four kids can participate in this almost detective game at a time.

First, the organizers of the holiday must draw four “paths” on the floor with multi-colored chalk, which would intersect each other, twist in zigzags, run in different directions, that is, they would be very dangerous and difficult routes.

In this case, each child is given a picture with an inscription and an image of the method of movement with which he must overcome his path: on all fours, single file, ten jumps on the left leg and ten jumps on the right leg, backwards forward.

The most important thing is that all the paths will lead to the Christmas tree, under which four gifts are hidden. It is better if one of them is larger - it is for the child who will be the first to reach the finish line. Let the other three be the same.

New Year's game "Gallery of portraits of Santa Claus"

Children love to draw, and they will definitely be pleased with the option of some unusual way of drawing. For example, invite children to portray Santa Claus with their left hand. Another option is to draw blindfolded. The third way to amuse the little ones is to invite them to make a drawing by holding a pencil or felt-tip pen in their teeth.

To make it interesting for all the children to watch the process, deploy five or six easels with sheets of paper attached to them into the room. Let the sheets be not just big, but huge. This will give the child the opportunity to express himself brighter and more fully.

Surely, each of the kids present will want to draw in one way or another, so it makes sense to use the above techniques in turn. It is also important to include a new melody every time so that children do not get tired of the monotony of sounds and lose interest in the process.

Naturally, the organizers will have to stock up on a large number of interesting gifts for this game, so that, in addition to creative satisfaction, each child will also receive material satisfaction.

Competition "Breath of Winter"

To conduct this competition, you will need to stock up on large snowflakes cut out of paper - participants in the mini-competition will blow them off the table.

There should be from three to five players, preferably both boys and girls.

Rules of the competition: snowflakes lying on the table, as at the start, must be blown off the table surface. However, the winner is declared not by the one who removes his snowflake from the table the fastest, but by the one whose snowflake falls to the floor later than everyone else. Thus, before the “start”, little players need to be hinted that the snowflake should float a little in the air.

As a prize, the child can be given mint candies or candies that would be associated with the name of the competition, for example, “Auntie Blizzard” or “Blizzard.”

Fun idea "Magic snowfall"

The host of this little fun venture should emphasize that the snowfall they are about to make is called magical, because it will be created by the hands of the children themselves. So, having intrigued her little guests, the presenter invites each of them to take a ball of cotton wool in their hands, fluff it up, throw it in the air and start blowing on the cotton wool from below so that a light “snowflake” begins to float in the air.

Those kids win - and there should be several winners! - whose “snowflake” can float as long or higher as possible.

Game "Harvest from snowflakes"

This game is suitable for very young children. It is better to use the Snowman in it, because this is the character that children associate with snow and fun at the same time.

So, explain to the kids that now they will be given magic baskets in which the snow does not melt. They need them in order to race to collect snowflakes. The Snowman demonstrates beautiful snowflakes pre-cut out of paper to the children. It is best to place them on a patterned tray.

Then, standing on a chair like a boy, the Snowman begins to throw snowflakes up. At this moment, the children need to turn on a pleasant melody and invite them to dance under this lacy snowfall. And then offer to collect snowflakes in magic baskets. Give the children two minutes, no more. The winner is the little one who is quicker than the rest and collects as many paper snowflakes as possible into his basket.

New Year's idea "Miracle Hat"

They play this fun game by forming a round dance. Father Frost or Snow Maiden begins. He or she takes off some funny hat from his or her head and places it on the head of a nearby child.

Explain to the children in advance that they take turns placing this hat on their neighbor's head. This will continue until the music stops or Santa Claus knocks with his magic staff. And the one who is wearing the miracle hat at that moment goes to the center and demonstrates any talent he has (must sing a song, recite a poem, ask a riddle, etc.).

Naturally, this child receives some kind of prize as a reward.

Entertainment "Talking Alphabet"

As an intellectual workout, you can invite children to play “Talking Alphabet.” Its conditions: Santa Claus pronounces a New Year's greeting that begins with the first letter of the alphabet: “Ali Baba sends you warm congratulations!”

The second participant - already one of the children - comes up with his own speech, but only for the second letter of the alphabet - “B”. for example, “Barmaley asked not to worry, he will not interfere with our New Year’s Eve!” and so on. Surely it will be especially interesting for children to receive prizes for the same letter that fell to them for congratulations; it will be especially fun for those who get b, b, y, etc. Here, of course, the organizers will have to work hard.

Entertainment for a children's party "Funny Christmas tree"

It is most appropriate to organize such entertainment at a festival, since in this fun competition children will have to show good coordination of movements.

So, in the middle of the hall we put a small artificial Christmas tree. It comes with a box of decorations. However, toys should only be made of plastic so that children do not hurt themselves.

Three to four volunteers are called. They are blindfolded and in this state they are asked to decorate the Christmas tree. Father Frost and the Snow Maiden or other fairy-tale characters from the matinee can serve toys. It is advisable not to look for losers in the competition and give chocolate medals or Christmas tree balls to each child.

As a variant of this competition, we can offer the following form: we do not place a Christmas tree in the center of the hall, but after handing the children a plastic toy, we turn them around their axis three times and ask them to walk and hang the decoration on the first “Christmas tree” they come across. The trick of the presenters should be to, while promoting the child, still direct him towards his comrades. Then, having reached one of the children, the little participant will certainly hang the toy on his ear, nose or button. Which will certainly cause friendly children's laughter.

Attention game "One, two, three!"

This game requires attentiveness and intelligence. It will certainly amuse children who are at least seven or eight years old: it uses numerals, so the child must be able to count.

Rules of the game: on a chair in the center of the circle formed by the players, there is a prize, decorated in a New Year's style. You can only grab it when you hear the number “three.” But the presenter will indulge in deception. He will try to say the word “three” several times, but will always add some ending. For example, “One, two, three... eleven!”, “One, two, three... hundred!”, “One, two, three... twenty!”. And somewhere between these deceptions he should utter the cherished word “three”.

The prize will be given to the one who turns out to be the most attentive, it is better to encourage the others too, so as not to get upset.

New Year's game "Let's make a blizzard"

Hi all! Are you already thinking about how to entertain your children for the New Year? Then consider these 13 simple games to play at home.

Children's New Year Games and Competitions for the home

Where is Santa Claus?

Of course, the simplest and most famous entertainment is the search for the long-awaited Santa Claus.
The presenter or the Snow Maiden invites the children to call Grandfather Frost.
And after that, together they light up the Christmas tree in chorus: “Christmas tree, light up!”

Tangerine football

To play this game, children are divided into 2 teams. To play you need tangerines and two fingers of each player.
Children play on the table and try to score a goal for the second team.
You can, of course, play this game with a goalkeeper, but then scoring a goal will be much more difficult.
This is a very fun game for developing team spirit, as well as dexterity and motor skills.
Adults, join the kids - it's a lot of fun!

Round dance for kids

Young children love to dance around the Christmas tree. It is simple and accessible for them.
It’s great to do such a round dance around the Christmas tree with the song “A Christmas tree was born in the forest” or “The little Christmas tree is cold in winter.”
If your child is doing a round dance for the first time or is shy, be sure to stand next to him and show with your example how great and fun it is.
Such a simple round dance unites children and adults and relieves tension.

Snowball

Both children of all ages and adults love to play this interesting outdoor game.
From paper, masking tape, etc. you need to make as many “snowballs” as possible. By the way, I never use newspapers for children's games, because... I know that printing ink contains harmful substances.
Participants in the game take turns throwing these “snowballs” into any large “basket” (basket, box, bucket...) and try to get into it. Of course, the older the participants, the further away the basket should be placed to make it more interesting.
An excellent game for accuracy, dexterity and coordination.

"Attentive" song

Children sing in chorus a well-known song, for example, “A Christmas tree was born in the forest.”
When the leader claps, everyone falls silent and continues to sing the song to themselves.
When the leader claps again, the children begin to sing out loud again.
Anyone who starts singing out of tune with the others is eliminated from the game.

Large and small Christmas trees

Santa Claus (or the presenter) tells the children: different Christmas trees grow in the forest - small and large, low and tall.
At the word “low” or “small,” the presenter and children lower their hands down. On the word “large” or “high” - they lift up.
The presenter (or Santa Claus) repeats these commands in different orders, while accompanying his words with “wrong” gestures, trying to confuse the children.
Excellent game for attention.

Collect snowballs

This game is for older children. Let's make lumps of cotton wool or balls of paper - these will be “snowballs”. We lay them out next to the Christmas tree or around the room on the floor. We give each participant a basket, bag or box.
The winner is the participant who collects the most “snowballs” while Blindfolded.
An excellent game that develops spatial thinking and sense of touch.

Flying snowflakes

This game can also be played by both children and adults.
Participants take a small piece of cotton wool - a “snowflake”, and simultaneously throw it and blow on it in order to keep it in the air for as long as possible. You know who wins. 😉
This is a wonderful outdoor game for developing lungs and dexterity.

Guess the gift

A wonderful game for younger children. You need to put different items in an opaque bag.
The child determines by touch what object is in his hand. And if he guesses right, he gets it as a gift.
An excellent game that develops spatial thinking and tactile sensations.

New Year's fishing

A game for older children and adults. Prepare unbreakable Christmas tree decorations with loops, put them in a large box, and find several fishing rods.
When the presenter gives the command, the participants in the game decorate the Christmas tree using fishing rods and try to do it as quickly as possible. The one who hangs the most toys on the Christmas tree wins.
A great game that develops dexterity.

Pass the orange

The participants of the game are divided into two teams of 5 - 10 people.
When the host gives the signal to start the game, each participant passes the orange to the next player on their team without using their hands.
The team that completes the task the fastest without dropping the orange wins.
This game also develops team spirit, dexterity and ingenuity.

winter wind

For this game, 3 to 5 participants sit around a smooth table. They try, like the wind, to blow away a paper snowflake, a wad of cotton wool or a paper ball from this table.
The game develops lightness and perseverance.

Collect snowflakes

For this game you need to make “snowflakes” - cotton balls or paper snowflakes. Stretch fishing lines in the room and hang these “snowflakes” on strings. All competition participants will be given scissors and buckets/baskets.
The winner is the one who, after the leader’s command, collects the most “snowflakes” in his bucket within a certain time.
This fun, active game develops speed and dexterity.

Let these fun New Year's games and competitions entertain you not only on the New Year itself, but also on the holiday weekend. And just on long winter evenings, why not have fun with your children?! 😉

New Year for the little ones

In this article, I shared with you ideas, games and useful tips for hosting New Year's parties at home. for the youngest children:

- children under one year old,

- children from one to three years old.

Section one. New Year for the little ones: the first year of life

If your baby is almost a year old, then the first Christmas tree in his life is waiting for him.

Does a child need a Christmas tree?

Undoubtedly it is needed. This is a new experience, and vivid impressions, and the joyful mood of the mother (and the children “read” the mother’s emotions on the fly). The only question is how to introduce the baby to the Christmas tree and ensure his safety.

First. In a family that has a first-year baby, the Christmas tree should be placed not on the floor but on the table, high up - so that the baby crawling or taking his first steps cannot touch it, pull it towards himself, reach the branch and, clinging to it, pull the tree down.

Therefore, the baby will look at the toys on the Christmas tree and the Christmas tree itself while sitting in his mother’s arms.

Second.

How to decorate a Christmas tree for a child of the first year of life and introduce the baby to it?

Each game or conversation with a child about the Christmas tree takes no more than 3-5 minutes, as long as the child’s interest remains.

First step. Show your child the undecorated Christmas tree – just as it is. (If you can look at a natural Christmas tree on a walk, then look at it with your baby). When examining, talk to the baby, using those babbling syllables and little words that the baby can already repeat after you: “Ah! It smells! Ahah! Let's smell the Christmas tree! (we hold a twig in our hand and let the child smell it, bringing our hand closer to him). Oh, how it smells!”, “Oh, prickly needles, oh, oh (prick your finger and lightly the child’s finger - oh, prickly - we say it jokingly). Ay, what a beautiful tree - ah!”

Read a poem about a Christmas tree to your child:

“Dad chose a Christmas tree
The fluffiest one
The fluffiest one
The most fragrant.
The Christmas tree smells like that -
Mom will gasp immediately!” Oh! What a beautiful Christmas tree. Oh! (A. Usachev).

Second step. Play with the not yet decorated Christmas tree and toys familiar to the child, for example, we will need such toys as a bird and a bunny. We will introduce the baby to the names of these toys, their actions, and encourage him to repeat simple babbling words.

Show how the toy bunny runs to the Christmas tree: stomp, stomp, stomp, how he jumps - jump - jump - jump - jump! Bang! The bunny fell. Get up! Jump-jump, the bunny jumps again. A bunny galloped under our Christmas tree, sat and wiggled his ears:

"The little white bunny is sitting
And he wiggles his ears.
That's how, that's how
And he wiggles his ears.”

Give the bunny into the hands of the baby, let him stroke the toy, feed the bunny, show how the bunny jumps, where the bunny’s ears are. “Where is the bunny?” (hide the toy) - “No bunny!” (surprised). We look for the bunny with the child and find: “Here is the bunny (we take out the toy).”

Put the bunny in a box so that the baby does not see this toy and is not distracted by it. And show me the toy bird.

Place the bird on a spruce branch:

"A bird has flown in -
The bird is small.
Sit down, don't fly away!
Flew away. Ay!”

“Where is the bird? (Put an opaque bright scarf over the bird). Here's a bird! (open the handkerchief).

On another day, other toy animals may “run” to the tree.

Third step. Introduce your child to Christmas tree toys and their names. (Even if you decorated the Christmas tree without the baby’s presence, you can do it now).

Let your baby touch Christmas tree toys that are safe for him: textile balls, wooden toys. Name what kind of toy this is, what it is called (“This is a yoke-go-go horse. The horse gallops and shouts: igo-go-go-go!”). Show how the horse gallops, let the child play with this toy.

Helpful advice: Nowadays they produce very beautiful and child-safe wooden Christmas tree toys, which can be bought at New Year's fairs from masters of folk arts and crafts. These are Santa Claus, Christmas tree, firecracker, candy, bear, matryoshka, grandmother, grandfather, bright ball, icicle and many others. It’s easy to make toys from fabric and felt yourself or use ready-made ones by sewing a loop on them for hanging on the Christmas tree. Use them for the youngest children.

First introduce 2-3 child-safe Christmas tree toys and their names.. Where is the bear? Here's a bear. What a beautiful. The bear walks slowly: toooop-toooop-toooop-toooop. And who is this? Bunny. When the baby remembers them, introduce him to other toys.

Teach your child to find a toy by first calling its “adult” name, and then a simplified child’s name: Where is our bear? Where's the bunny? Where is the Lala doll? Where is the dog aw-aw? Where is the yoke horse? Where is the B.B. machine?

When you decorate the Christmas tree, ask your child to show you the toy: “Where is our tick-tock clock? Here's the tick-tock clock. Let's hang them on the Christmas tree. Like this! Oh, what a beautiful watch!”

When decorating the Christmas tree, read the poem to your child:

“Mom is decorating the Christmas tree,
Anya (child's name) helps her mother,
She gives toys
Stars, balls, firecrackers.
We will invite guests
Let’s dance and sing together.”

Turn on fun dance music and let your baby dance to it with you.

Fourth step.

If your baby knows the names of the toys on the tree well and easily finds the toys on it, you can change their places on the tree - rehang them. Will the baby find the clock in a new place on the tree?

Also add new toys to the tree. Especially good bells or bells. Let your baby ring the bell and hang it on the tree. If your baby wants to ring a bell already attached to a tree branch, don’t deny him this. Bring the bell directly on the branch to the baby’s hand and gently ring it together using the “child’s hand in the adult’s hand” technique.

Helpful Hint: You can buy bells at a hobby store, and beautiful little bells that are easy for a child's hand to buy at fishing stores. Tie beautiful bows to the bell and bell and sew a loop for hanging them on the Christmas tree.

Introduce your child to the lights of the garland on the Christmas tree. This sight always fascinates a child. Lights! So beautiful! Give your child a few minutes just to look at this amazing sight for him: the lights are burning!

"Christmas tree, Christmas tree, Christmas tree -
Green needle!
Light up with different lights -
Green and red!

What beautiful lights! They're burning! No lights. Where are the lights? (the lights went out on the blinking garland) Here are the lights!

How to decorate an apartment for the New Year if there is a baby in the house who is not yet a year old?

Decorate your apartment for the arrival of guests with decorations that your baby can play with. This is especially true for children 8-12 months old.

Playing with colorful flags

How to make a garland with flags for a child of the first year of life. Cut diamonds from bright colored cardboard of different colors, fold them in half so that you get triangles - flags. Place your “triangular flag” on the rope and glue it at the bottom so that the flag is held on the rope, does not open, and at the same time it can be moved along the rope. Make such a multi-colored garland. The baby will be able to look at the flags and move them with his handle along the rope to the right - to the left when you take him in your arms and bring him to your homemade garland.

You can remove two flags from the garland, give one to the child, and take one into the mother’s hands. And dance a dance with a flag to the song: the baby “dances” in his mother’s arms: he waves the flag, the mother spins with the baby in her arms.

We will take the flag in our hands
And we'll go in circles.
Ay-yes, ay-yes
And we'll go in circles.
Let's show our flag to our friends
Let's lift up and wave
(show how to do this, take the baby’s hand with your hand and wave the flag, then release your hand, the baby waves himself).
Ay-yes, ay-yes
Let's lift it up and wave it.
Look at your flag
Spin around with him, buddy.
Ay-yes, ay-yes!
Spin with him, my friend (the mother is slowly spinning, the baby is in her arms)

Repeat this dance on different days - the baby will begin to recognize its melody and will begin to imitate your movements with pleasure.

Playing with bells or New Year's bells

A child will also be interested in decorations in the form of metal bells with bows, hung on strings like garlands or simply in groups in different places in the room. The baby will be happy to pull the string and ring the bell.

Take the bell in your hands and sing a song about it:

“Ding-dong - ding - dong!
The bell is ringing!
Ding-dong - ding - dong!
The bell is thin!
Ding-dong - ding - dong!
He plays happily.
Ding-dong - ding - dong!
Masha (child’s name) is amused!”

Playing with rattles

Rattles can also be included in a New Year's garland and hung in groups using bright ribbons. You can make a whole bunch of rattles for your child, securing them with a festive bright satin ribbon. While playing with a rattle, you can sing to your baby a version of the dance with rattles adapted for little ones:

Oh what fun today
Kids having fun
Anya (child's name) was given rattles
Rattles are good!
Chorus:
Hey yeah, call me
Sounding toy
Hey yeah, call me
Our rattle
Where, where is the rattle?
The kids hid them
Show me the rattles
Rattles are good.
Chorus:
Hey yeah, call me
Sounding toy
Hey yeah, call me
Our rattle.

Take the rattles and “hide” them by covering them with a scarf so that one part of them is visible. Where are the rattles? The child needs to pull off the handkerchief and find the rattles, after which he plays with them himself.

Another garland for the youngest children. You can tie rattles and bells into one large garland. Make a box with two side holes measuring approximately 15 X 15 cm. Thread a ribbon with toys through the holes and tie it into a single ring. You will get a kind of “carousel” in a box. The baby will pull the ribbon and take out the next toy from the box.

Playing with painted wooden spoons

Spoons can also decorate a room for the New Year. First show your baby how to bang a spoon on the floor or table. Later, teach him to knock the spoons together.

Knock-knock, spoons!
Sounding palms!
Knock-knock, knock-knock!
You can hear the sound of ringing spoons!

Playing with bunnies

You can sew small felt white finger caps for your child. Sew two long ears to the base of the cap and draw a bunny's face with a marker. The result was “finger puppets – bunnies”.

Show your child a mini-play with bunnies:

Fingers - fingers,
Little bunnies,
The bunnies danced (we move our fingers),
The bunnies played (we continue to move our fingers).
And... (pause), They ran away!

After the show, put the caps on your baby's fingers - let him move his fingers and play with bunnies.

How can a child participate in a home New Year's party?

Useful advice 1. If you are visiting for a New Year's holiday with your baby of the first year of life, then find out in advance whether you will have the opportunity to retire from time to time with your child in a separate quiet room?

The fact is that the baby, and even after the trip, will get tired of constantly being in a noisy group of people that is new to him. Therefore, after 20-30 minutes of the baby’s stay in the common room with guests, it is better to go with the child to a separate room. In addition, in a separate room the child will have the opportunity to sleep if he is tired.

If there are no such conditions, then it is better not to risk visiting for the New Year with such a small child. Because The baby may become capricious, and you will not enjoy the holiday. And he too.

You should not go to visit directly on New Year's Eve; it is better to go with your child to a daytime celebration with friends with children or relatives.

Helpful tip 2. Put on your and your child's "weekend clothes" - she creates the mood! And your holiday mood is very important for your baby too! And also gives you strength!

Helpful tip 3. Naturally, strangers will meet the baby at the holiday. There is no need to be afraid of this, but there is no need to pass the child from hand to hand to strangers, he may get scared. But new contacts will be useful for a child who will soon be one year old. That's why let new people play with the baby while he is sitting in his mother's arms - they will tell him a nursery rhyme, praise him, show him “okay” or dance actions. The baby is safe, he is smiling, everything is fine!

Helpful tip 4. Ask hosts and guests to keep the baby in the common room while there were no sharp loud sounds (the clapping of a firecracker, for example), which could frighten him greatly, so that the music did not sound loud. A baby in the first year of life cannot tolerate great emotional overload; in case of overload, he begins to be capricious, cry and express this unpleasant state in his voice in every possible way. If other guests need to clap firecrackers, then leave the common room to your quiet place outside at this time. And then come back.

Helpful tip 5. With your baby on holiday, you will need to study, communicate, and play. He will not be able to just sit or lie passively during the holiday. Think about what toys you will take with you so that your baby can play with them when visiting. Teach your guests your baby's favorite nursery rhymes(magpie - crow, okay, ay-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta and others). Let the guests play with the baby and amuse him with nursery rhymes.

Helpful tip 6. If you receive guests at your home, then most likely there will be no problems with a separate lounge room. But another question will arise - if you need to retire with your child to a separate room for a while to relax, who will be able to play the role of host or hostess with guests at this time? It’s good if one of your friends or relatives can take on this role so that you don’t have to leave the baby alone in another room in case of emergency.

Section 2. New Year for the little ones: children of the second and third year of life

For children aged one and a half years and older, it is already possible to arrange a small children's home party. Invite 3-4 more children of the same age or a little older. It is important that the children's party is either at your home or near your home, because... During the journey, the baby will get tired and will no longer be able to actively take part in it.

Recommendation 1. Duration of the holiday. To prevent children from getting tired, the active part of the holiday for such young children should be no more than 30 minutes, and the entire stay of the guests should be about an hour. These additional 30 minutes include changing the children’s clothes and juice and treats after the party, but does not include preparing the room for the children’s arrival - the room for the party is prepared in advance, even before the children arrive .

Recommendation 2. Participants of the holiday. Invite children and adults already familiar to the child to the holiday. If there is someone new for the child, then it is better to introduce the child to these people before the holiday - let them come to visit you even before the holiday on a separate day. The fact is that young children always support each other in everything, especially when crying! Therefore, if one baby gets scared of someone unfamiliar and cries, then a friendly roar will be guaranteed. To avoid such moments, you need to make sure in advance that all guests know each other well.

Recommendation 3. One important point. The holiday will bring joy to children of this age and adults only in one case - if the children are not spectators of a performance carefully prepared by an adult, but its active participants! They will answer questions, call characters, play, and dance. Moreover, for an early age it is very important that all children simultaneously do the same action: for example, everyone throws cotton snowballs at the fox, driving it away. Or everyone portrayed a bunny sitting under the tree - together and at the same time.

Adults should also not be passive spectators: if we conduct a round dance, then both children and adults dance in it. Adults also participate in games, showing examples of actions to their children.

A) or give everyone exactly the same ones, so that something like this doesn’t happen: two kids grab onto one toy and don’t give it up to each other (children at this age still don’t know how to give in and restrain themselves),

B) either have a large supply. And if one of the kids suddenly grabbed a bell with a yellow ribbon, and the second one immediately grabbed it, then give the second one another bell of the same kind so that everyone is happy and satisfied :).

Be sure to give children beautiful props for dancing - snowflakes or ribbons, lanterns or rattles that are the same for everyone, since bright holiday props help the child feel the atmosphere of the holiday and are very attractive and interesting for little ones.

If you are visiting a family New Year's party with a child 1-2 years old, and it is customary for the host family to bring individual gifts for the New Year, then under no circumstances ask the child 1-2 years old to give the gift to other children. There will be tears and bad mood. Just wrap the gift and give it yourself - and again, not into the hands of the child, but into the hands of his mother!

Recommendation 6. About Santa Claus. It is advisable not to invite Santa Claus to a home Christmas tree for children under 2 years old; children may be scared of him. For many of them, Santa Claus is an unknown uncle in strange clothes, and is by no means a fairy-tale hero with gifts. Let Santa Claus be painted on their gifts that they find under the tree. And they will see the “living Santa Claus” a little later, when they grow up.

What you can do for children 1-2 years old at a home New Year party:

- dancing (both adults and children dance to any cheerful music with the simplest movements: clapping, doing half-squats - springs, showing flashlights, spinning, stamping our feet),

- round dance around the Christmas tree (to any song about the Christmas tree),

watching a puppet theater(more on this below)

game with lights on the Christmas tree: when we blow, the lights on the tree go out (you need to agree with someone in advance to ensure this). When we clap our hands, the lights come back on! Children's delight! But if we don’t do it together (for example, Vanya didn’t clap), then it doesn’t work, we have to repeat it!

playing music on children's musical instruments. Give the kids identical bells and rattles and let them sound them to cheerful music, and let the toy bunny dance to their accompaniment!

- an active game.

How to decorate a Christmas tree if the family has children 1-2 years old

At this age, the child can already put the Christmas tree on the floor, but make sure that it is stable and cannot fall. To the bottom tier of the tree(at a height accessible to the child) unbreakable toys are hung - made of paper, cardboard, cotton wool, fabric, wood. To the topmost tiers of the tree We hang up breakable toys. We also hang tinsel on the upper tiers of the tree so that the child cannot pull it and accidentally drop the tree on the floor.

A one-and-a-half to two-year-old child can already be taught how to decorate the Christmas tree himself - hang several toys on it. This is very useful for developing fine motor skills and sensorimotor coordination. Make a thick loop of cord for unbreakable toys and teach your child to hang the toy on a branch and remove it. Don't expect your child to decorate the entire Christmas tree - he will hang only 2-3 toys, or maybe only one. Leave the rest for next time. This is a difficult task for a child, and you should not overload him by forcing him to hang several toys at once.

Happy New Year to relatives with a 1-2 year old child

Nowadays it is more common for all adults to be focused on the child. In traditional folk pedagogy, for thousands of years, from early childhood, children have been taught to take care of loved ones. It is then that he will absorb the ability to be merciful, sympathetic, and help adults.

On the other hand, how much can such a baby do? Alone - no, but together with my mother - a lot.

When we make holiday crafts with a 1-2 year old child - gifts for grandparents and other relatives - there are two extremes.

First: the mother does everything for the child. It turns out beautifully, but whose craft is this?

Second: the child does everything himself. But... it turns out ugly and it is obvious that this gift is not a guarantee that you will like it. Perhaps he will be accepted, but simply for granted.

How can you make sure that the gift is beautiful and that the child actively participates in its making? The way out is the joint creativity of an adult and a child.

Examples of joint creativity in making New Year's gifts with a child 1-2 years old:

- in a New Year's card, an adult draws a background: sky, houses, snow on the ground. And the child “poke” only draws snow swirling in the air (we take a pencil and draw dots with the reverse “non-drawing” end of the pencil, immersing the pencil in white gouache),

- a child, against a background of a winter forest made by an adult, can add traces of little animals: jump-jump-jump, a bunny galloped here,

- a child can, together with an adult, make candies and apples for a Christmas tree from salt dough,

- you can instruct the child to smear the plasticine over the background, and then against this background the adult can lay out a picture of small parts of the plasticine.

There are many possibilities and options! And there is a distribution of work - what the adult does and what the child does. Moreover, the adult does not interfere with the “children’s” part. If we need to show something to the baby, then we show it on our own separate sheet of paper, and not on a common postcard.

Looking at New Year's pictures

With children 1-2 years old, you can already look at New Year’s pictures in books and on postcards. Where is the Christmas tree, where is the star, where is the flashlight, the ball, Santa Claus, the Snow Maiden in the picture? Where is the star on our Christmas tree?

Round dances for children 1-2 years old

Children 1-2 years old really need round dances. It is in a round dance that the child gets his first experience of interacting with peers. In the first round dances, all the kids do the same actions.

For example, the traditional New Year's round dance "Zainka" for the little ones.

Bunny, come out,
Gray, come out!
That's it, come out that way!
That's it, come out that way!

Bunny, take a walk,
Gray, take a walk!
Like this, like this, take a walk,
Like this, like this, take a walk.
Bunny, jump.
Gray, jump.
That's it, that's it, jump.
That's it, that's it, jump.
Bunny, stamp your foot,
Gray, stomp your foot.
Like this, like this, stamp your foot.
Bunny, dance,
Gray, dance,
Like this, like this, dance!
Like this, like this, dance!
Bunny, bow down,
Gray, bow.
That's it, that's it, bow down.
Like this, bow like this.

All children in the round dance and adults make movements according to the text. At the New Year's party, a toy bunny can ask the kids to dance with him. Then we will take the bunny into our hands, put him in a round dance (the bunny will dance between two mothers) and dance with him.

If children know this round dance well and easily perform its movements, then you can complicate the task. Then one bunny is selected from the children, he depicts all the actions in the center of the round dance, and all the players repeat everything after him. At the end another verse is added:

Bunny, choose!
Gray, choose!
That's it, that's it, choose!
That's it, that's it, choose!

For a child, being in the center of a round dance is a very important experience! After all, he needs to behave freely when everyone is looking at him and attention is focused on him. Not every child will immediately go to the center of the round dance. If the baby is not ready, let him just watch the round dance for now or just walk in it with you. When he gradually gets used to it, he will come to the center of the circle (this could be in a week or two).

New Year for the little ones: how to show a puppet theater to children 1-2 years old

There is absolutely no need to buy special toys for a puppet show. Your regular toys for your child’s games will also work.

Tip 1. Before the performance starts, give the kids toys - characters. Let him examine them, work with them. Let them become new acquaintances to the child. Otherwise, during the performance, the baby will reach for new toys and demand to pick them up.

Tip 2. Instead of a screen you can use:

- a large box,

- a suitcase, decorating its bottom as a “scene with scenery”, and the top cover as “sky”,

- regular table

- cloth stretched between two chairs,

- fabric stretched in the doorway.

Decorations can be made using clothespins: stick a figurine on a clothespin, and attach the clothespin to a fabric screen.

Tip 3. How to move the puppets during the performance:

- when the toy speaks, it moves (for example, it bends and sways towards the character to whom it speaks). When a character is silent, he should be motionless.

- when the toy enters the stage, it moves either from the back of the stage to the children (if it is a box), or from right to left or from left to right (if the stage is an ordinary table),

— if the toy needs to move something along the plot of the play or pick it up, then you hold the doll with one hand and do the necessary actions with the other hand,

- if you show a performance with the help of bibabo dolls (hand-held dolls), then you can express different gestures with the help of the toy’s hands. For example, arms to the sides are surprise, the doll is happy – this is jumping, the doll brings its hands to its cheeks “oh!”

- if you have used a toy and you no longer need it during the performance, then put it in an opaque box so that it does not distract the children’s attention.

New Year's round dances for young children

Below you will find options for round dances for a home children's party. In order for children to be able to play it, you must first sing a round dance at home before the holiday and make movements according to the text. Only then will the child be able to act together with his peers at the holiday with pleasure and quickly, and will be glad that he heard a familiar melody and familiar words. Young children love repetition and everything that is recognizable and predictable. And they may not immediately get used to the dance that is new to them.

It is enough to learn one dance or one round dance with movements according to the text. And the baby can do a regular round dance around the Christmas tree with other mothers and children without preparation.

Snowball dance

To dance you need snowballs sewn from cotton wool. Take a ball of cotton wool and white threads with a needle. And we sew the cotton wool together so that it becomes a dense white lump - a snowball. You can also make snowballs with your child from white paper, crumpling it into lumps - balls. All movements are performed by children to music in accordance with the text.

We took the snowballs in our hands and ran along the path.
The kids ran, they were all dressed up! (2 rubles)
We pick up the snowball and swing it over our heads.
Swing over me, my mischievous little snowball. (2 rubles)
Let's have a snowball dance, little snowy friend.
Dance, don’t yawn and repeat after us. (2 rubles)
Let's stomp our feet and take a snowball in our palm
We will bring it to the Snow Maiden and return it to her basket. (2 rubles)

Bunnies

Our kids had fun
And they spun and danced,
It was like bunnies were jumping around.
Jump-jump, jump-jump,
The shoe broke.
All the guys sat on the floor,
They looked at the shoes.
To fix the shoes,
We need to nail the nails.
Knock-knock-knock-knock
We need to nail the nails.
Oh, our legs are tired,
We'll clap our hands
Clap-clap-clap-clap
We will clap our hands.
We knocked on our hands,
Our little hands are tired,
I'll put them down and shake them,
Bye-bye-bye-bye.
We rested a little
Our feet are dancing again
La la la la.

Beads glitter on the Christmas tree

Beads glitter on the Christmas tree,
Firecrackers and star.
We love our Christmas tree.
Yes Yes Yes! (the words of the verse are sung by an adult and older children, and the kids finish the last line of the song in chorus: yes-yes-yes).
And Santa Claus is cheerful -
Gray beard -
Brings us gifts.
Yes Yes Yes!
Snow Maiden in a white fur coat
He always comes to us.
We sing and dance with her.
Yes Yes Yes! (N. Naydenova)

Dance with handkerchiefs

Who has a handkerchief in his hands,
He will come to my circle.
He will show you his handkerchief,
He waves cheerfully.

Chorus: That's it, that's it,

We'll take the corners
Our bright scarves.
And let's lift it higher, higher,
Taller than our kids!

Chorus: That's it, that's it,
This is my handkerchief! (2 times).

Let's all sit quietly in a circle,
Let's hide behind our scarf.
And then, and then -
We will find all the kids!

Chorus: That's it, that's it,
This is my handkerchief! (2 times).

How similar they are to flowers,
Our bright scarves.
And our boys too
They all look like flowers!

Chorus: That's it, that's it,
This is my handkerchief! (2 times).

Round dance "Mishenka"

Come out, Misha, dance, dance.
Paw, paw, Misha, wave, wave.
And we’ll dance around Mishenka,
Let's sing a funny song, let's sing it!
We will, we will hit our hands, we will hit them!
There will be, Mishenka will dance for us, we will dance!

Dance “Legs and Palms”

Like our guys
Feet are knocking merrily!
Our people are remote
Albeit very small!

Your legs will just get tired,
Let's clap our hands,
Palm-to-palm
Merry little boys!

How can we start running?
No one can catch us!
We are a distant people
Albeit very small!

Now squat down
With my mother next to me,
Down, up, one and two -
This is how kids dance!

“The kids are dancing” (to the tune of “Oh, you canopy...”)

Here our Mishenka (child’s name) stands up,
He will start dancing now.
Mishenka will dance
Amuse all the kids!
Misha, Misha, dance,
Wave to our kids.
Choose others to dance
And amuse the kids!

Everyone clapped their hands (to the tune of “In the garden, in the vegetable garden...”)

Everyone clapped their hands
Friendly, more fun.
Our feet started knocking
Louder and faster.

Let's hit you on the knees
Hush, hush, hush...
Handles, hands up
Higher, higher, higher...

Our hands are spinning,
They went down again.
Spun around, spin around
And they stopped.

Dance with rattles

They ran with the rattle, ran faster.
All the kids with the rattle immediately became more cheerful.

Rattle, rattle louder,
Louder, louder.
Dolls, bears, all animals
It immediately became more fun.
Christmas tree, Christmas tree, hanging branches.
Fun, fun, all the kids are having fun.
Spun around with a rattle,
We spun around more cheerfully.
All the kids with the rattle immediately became more cheerful.
Christmas tree, Christmas tree, hanging branches.
Fun, fun, all the kids are having fun.
