I try to be a good daughter because I believe in karma and I feel that what you do to your parents is how you are rewarded in life. Everything is directly proportional. I admire her not only because she is my mother, but also because she always has the right words. My parents worked from morning to night to give us something in life. Mom was a good typist. I remember her typing out the answers to all the questions on our exams. Shamita and I are educated and cultured girls, largely thanks to our parents’ upbringing.
