Exhibition of living organisms. Museum “Living Systems. The Christmas tree program includes

Touch, check, look – everything is allowed here. Even to conduct experiments on your own body!

The museum's exhibition is dedicated to the basic systems of living organisms. On sightseeing and thematic excursions, schoolchildren will be told in a fascinating and accessible way about how all living things around them work. Due to the interactivity of each exhibit, it is possible to combine the auditory and visual pathways of perception with tactile sensations, and the student himself becomes the object of most experiments and research.

Interactive zones

In the "Measure yourself" zone you have the opportunity to find out if you can out-scream a howler monkey, how much water is in your body and how many children can fit in one cubic meter. The first place to start getting acquainted with such complex living systems as humans is to study yourself.

In the "Perception" zone you will learn how dependent we are on our vision, what his facial expressions can tell about a person, and what it’s like to walk on a tightrope over an abyss.

In the "Evolution" zone you can feel like a real paleontologist and understand how scientists learn about ancient times.

In the “Difficulties of the Habitual” zone you will be able to understand about people who have a harder life than many of us. It is helpful to understand that mundane and familiar things can be a serious obstacle for some. You will also learn about how modern science can make the lives of such people easier.

In the Florafarium zone you can get acquainted with exotic animals and plants: Yemen chameleons, geckos, poisonous tree frogs, cichlid fish, predatory plants and that’s not all... In the florafarium you will examine the most interesting and mysterious species of flora and fauna of our planet under real microscopes.

Also available to visitors are the areas “Cardiovascular system”, “Respiratory system”, “Digestive system”, “Musculoskeletal system”, “Regulatory systems” and even "Reproductive system", where they will tell you in a correct form about what happens to the baby inside the mother’s belly, and what determines whether a boy or a girl will be born.

Working individually, in pairs, or in teams, students of all ages can learn by creating and programming models, conducting research, writing reports, and discussing ideas that arise while working with those models. Preliminary preparation: ability to use a computer mouse, reading skills.
