How to draw a small eye. How to draw eyes with a pencil. Step by step drawing

Created in: Adobe Photoshop

Let's be honest, drawing a face is not that easy, especially if you have no experience! This is not the same as painting landscapes, where it doesn’t matter whether the tree is moved sideways an inch or whether it has changed its shape. When you draw realistic face, everything must be in its place, otherwise it will turn out ridiculous. And not only that, each part of the face has its own unique anatomy, which must be taken into account - at least as a basis on which something can then be built!

In this tutorial I will show you how to draw eyes. I hope that this lesson will be useful not only for beginners, but also for those who have been in the field of drawing for a long time, but will be glad to learn something new and develop their skills even more - or perhaps just try something new .

INTRODUCTION

They say the eyes are the window to the soul, and without a doubt they are the most expressive part of the face. I've heard that if you get the eyes right, you're halfway to a good portrait, and that's true to some extent. The eyes are also often the element of the face that makes a portrait appear lifeless, and this usually happens when the artist does not fully consider their anatomy.

So, before we start drawing realistic eyes, let's look at a line drawing that shows what an eye looks like in reality. Of course there are eyes different shapes and sizes, but general shape will always be unchanged. The eyeball is called that for a reason - it has a spherical shape, and its lines are visible even when we do not see the entire eyeball. If you look from the side, this becomes even more obvious. Next, in the inner corner of the eye there is a tear duct, and, of course, the upper and lower eyelids. Omission of any of these details leads to an inadequate result!

To achieve a more complete picture, I will show you how to draw an eye in two perspectives - a front view and a ¾ turn, because... these two perspectives are most often found in portraits.

SO, LET'S BEGIN!

On the day of the beginning, open a new file and select a skin color to fill the background - something in between, not too bright and not too dark. Add a new layer and sketch out the eye, not forgetting all the little things that were mentioned above. Our light source will be located on the right, so we can add its reflection to the sketch now.

First of all, let's shape the surrounding area of the eye. You can draw directly on the background or (as the most convenient option when creating realistic portrait) just add a new layer below the sketch layer and draw on it. Take a standard round brush with Opacity set to Pen Pressure and pick an orange-brown for the shadows and a yellow-beige for the highlights so you can start shading. Brush along the natural curves of the eye sockets and eyelids.

Continuing to work with the round brush, we paint in shadows and highlights, and also add a little gray-violet for color variation, even if the color is not particularly noticeable. To smooth out the brush lines a bit, I usually use the Smudge tool in Finger Painting mode, the brush tip in Scatter mode, and Opacity in Pen Pressure mode. Experiment with the settings; these parameters are mine personal choice, but perhaps completely different ones will suit you!

To get more clear picture How the eye will look, let's paint over the white of the eye. The most common mistake here is to choose purely white for protein. Remember, we must take into account the round shape of the eyeball as well as the reflections of the light source. Use a grayish tint - it is the most in the best possible way fits here - the degree of its lightness will depend on the overall illumination of the picture. Incorporating a bit of skin tone (or light tint if it's bright enough) into the white of the eye can make it look more realistic. And as for the tear duct, you can use a beige-pink shade as its basis.

Now let's color the iris. I choose a color that goes from medium to dark blue and then add on top of that basics easy light layer. This already gives a feeling of depth. Next we add the pupil. Please note that on the ¾ spread the pupil is no longer round, but slightly oval in shape; it comes from a change in perspective. Don't forget the small bright dot to illustrate the highlight from the reflected light, because this will help you refine the iris in more detail later!

We have almost got quite realistic eyes, even though the drawing is still crude and lacks many details. However, for now we will work on the basic shape of the eye and give it volume. Taking a round brush, I select a fairly saturated orange-brown color for deep shadows between the upper eyelid and eyebrow. I also use this shade to add a little shadow on my upper lid and a little on the inner corner of my lower lid. The tear duct becomes beautifully saturated orange tint, which is also lightly applied to the outer corner of the eye. To enhance the highlights on the eyelids, you can equally use both light beige and gray-green shades. We also once again draw the shadows on the eyeball itself.

From this point on, everything depends on further processing and adding details. We work with the same round brush, varying (manually) its Opacity and size. I always have the feeling that I am carving a figure out of stone like a sculptor, and not just painting like an artist; By adding shadows and highlights, I seem to revive the figure, and it becomes voluminous and realistic. This is exactly what we will do: deepen and draw the shadows. Adding a soft but noticeable shadow to the edge of the upper eyelid helps achieve the lash effect, and softens the edges where the eyeball disappears under the eyelid. The color of the iris is played up with pale green, and where the shadow of the eyelid falls on it, we add a very juicy turquoise.

Staying on the iris, take a small brush - either a round or dotted one - and you can begin to apply the pattern of lines. These lines are present on all eyes, but sometimes this pattern can be so dark that it is almost invisible. However, the iris always has lines running from the pupil to the outer edges of the iris itself. IN in this case we want them to be noticeable and rich. Let's choose pale green and turquoise colors for this purpose, but use both light and dark shades the same or similar tone. From time to time, step away from the drawing and take a closer look at it, so you can notice some shortcomings that need to be worked on. Here I added a little more highlight on the outside of the eyebrow, on the edge of the lower eyelid and around the tear duct. Then you can move on to the eyebrows.

Using the Smudge tool with a fine brush tip, we carefully draw the iris. Please note that you need to move from the pupil to the edges of the iris: we don’t want all the lines to blur! After that, we select a very bright - but almost desaturated - pale green color and go over the iris where the light falls on it: on the right side, and a little in the lower left corner, where there is a small glare from the light. To emphasize the line of the eyeball, we take a white-blue color and draw the main highlight on the eye. Now I draw it in the form of an arch, crossing the border of the iris and getting a little onto the white. This will give the surface of the eye a dewy shine.

Using a small round brush with Opacity and Size Jitter set to Pen pressure, you can now draw the eyebrow. Choose a nice dark brown color, and another one - a regular brown. Lightly go over the eyebrows with the Smudge tool. Take the color of the skin surrounding your brow and use it to thin out any excess hair thickness. Highlight the surrounding skin by adding some highlights, especially on the outside where the light will hit directly. After this, you can move on to the eyelashes. Let's add a new layer so as not to spoil the overall picture of the eye. Select a small round brush with Opacity and Size set to Pen Pressure and start light movements apply eyelashes. If they are not painted over with mascara or curled with a special device, they practically do not bend upward!

You can continue adding more eyelashes on the same layer, or you can create a new one to make them thicker. You can also make a duplicate of the layer with already drawn eyelashes and move it a little to the right or left, then reduce the Opacity a little, remove unnecessary elements and go over them with the Smudge tool. If you are happy with the result, we slightly blur the eyelashes in some places. Add a few small highlights between the eyelashes on the lower eyelid and get a beautiful glitter effect.

The last stage of each drawing is to add those very small parts, which make the drawing “come to life”, making it more realistic, even despite the rather obvious hand-drawn quality. Using separate layers for these details will only help you, because then you can edit and experiment with effects without damaging the drawing itself. But before we start detailing, let's work on the iris a little more. Take your darkest turquoise color and draw a circle around the pupil with lines extending from the center outwards - some more prominent and longer, some slightly less visible and shorter. This will add green to the eyes and give them shine. Now we'll add some more highlights to the squirrel using a standard spot brush, then blurring them out with the Smudge tool. Taking a smaller dotting brush with an Angle Jitter of 50%, we will go over the eyebrows, eyelids and corner of the eye brightly white-yellow color. All this is done on a separate layer! Slightly smudge the too noticeable points, some of them may need to be removed with an Eraser to facilitate better blending with the surrounding area of the skin. Now duplicate this layer and set the layer blending mode to Overlay (Overlay), then move this layer slightly and you will get a beautiful imitation of skin texture.

Now all you have to do is look at your drawing last time, you might want to add a few more strokes to the lower eyelid or the corner of the eye, or adjust the highlights or shadows - that's it! Ready!

Good afternoon. Today we will tell you how to draw eyes with a pencil. Almost always, when you start a new business, you immediately imagine how you will do it and what the end result will be. But sometimes there are things that you don’t even want to take on, because you simply cannot understand where to start and how to continue. Some kind of stupor!

I'll tell you the backstory. Our site is run by 2 people: me and my sister, you can read more about us here. So, all the drawings presented on this site are made by my sister, and I just post them online. Those. I don’t have any artistic education or skills, in a nutshell I CAN’T DRAW. And when my sister showed me this drawing, I just gasped!! “How can our readers draw this? It's difficult". But after sitting on it for literally 20-30 minutes, I figured it all out and drew something more or less similar to what is described in our lesson. And on the second try I got almost the original!

Is this all I'm talking about? And to the fact that nothing is impossible. Any business can be accomplished in no time, the main thing is to start... and finish :) Especially when there is detailed instructions for use! Forward! Draw beautifully beautiful eyes!

This is quite a difficult lesson, so it may take you quite a lot of effort to repeat it. If you didn’t succeed in drawing the eyes the first time, don’t despair and try again. Try your best to complete this lesson. If it still doesn’t work out, you can try to complete the lesson “”. But I believe that you will succeed.

What you will need

Please note that this technology lesson and it can be done either in pencil on paper or in a graphics program.

In order to draw the eyes we may need:

  • Paper. It is better to take medium-grain special paper: beginning artists will find it much more pleasant to draw on this kind of paper.
  • Sharpened pencils. I advise you to take several degrees of hardness, each should be used for different purposes.
  • Eraser.
  • Stick for rubbing hatching. You can use plain paper rolled into a cone. It will be easy for her to rub the shading, turning it into a monotonous color.
  • Graphic editor GIMP. You need to download GIMP for Win or Mac OS and install it.
  • Download brushes for GIMP, they may come in handy.
  • Some add-ons may be needed (instructions on how to install them).
  • You need Photoshop program.
  • A little patience.
  • Good mood.

Step by step lesson

Different parts of the human body and organs should be drawn with a certain degree of realism. This is required academic drawing. Also, he strongly recommends drawing eyes from life or, in extreme cases, from a photograph. This is the only way to achieve high realism and elaboration.

By the way, in addition to this lesson, I advise you to pay attention to the lesson “”. It will help improve your skill or just give you a little fun.

All complex drawings must be created through forward thinking and vision. The subject must be more than just a form on a sheet of paper. You must draw it three-dimensionally, that is, creating it from simple geometric bodies as if they were on top of each other: here is a ball on a cube, and here are two balls next to each other. All living and non-living things on earth consist of these primitive forms.

Tip: create a sketch with as thin strokes as possible. The thicker the sketch strokes are, the more difficult it will be to erase them later.

The first step, or rather the zero step, is always to mark a sheet of paper. This will let you know where exactly the drawing will be located. If you place the drawing on half of the sheet, you can use the other half for another drawing. Here is an example of marking a sheet in the center:

A person’s eyes are the mirror of his soul, and the site already has lessons on drawing eyes, but they are more focused on “take and repeat” practice and do not carry any theory, and there is quite a lot of theory, so I decided to translate and put together a couple of foreign lessons.

In addition to theory, there is also practice that will help you get better. You need to draw either with a pencil on paper or using a graphics tablet. Unfortunately, a mouse will not work here.

First of all, you need to refer to the plastanatomy of the eye - the drawing and terminology are above, use it. It is important for an artist to understand a few basic things about the human eye.

Firstly, the eyes are based on. The eye is spherical in shape. When drawing an eye, you need to take this into account, creating the desired volume when constructing.

Secondly, depending on various factors, such as the depth of the eye socket, the presence of fatty tissue in it, hypo- and hyperfunction of the thyroid gland - the eyeball can lie at different depths. That is, the eye can be bulging, “toad-like,” or it can be located deep in the orbital cavity, shaded by the supraorbital edge. In addition, the more loose adipose tissue around the eyes, the less clearly the border of the eye will be read. And on the contrary - at thin man this boundary will be clearly defined.

Third. The eyelid is not a flat fold of skin. Along its ciliary edge it has a cartilaginous base. Accordingly, when drawing an eye, you should not depict the eyelids as having no volume.

Fourthly and lastly. The line of the eyes, its position is absolutely individual for all people. The inner corner of the eye is not always located lower than the outer corner. It may be completely the opposite, or the corners may be at the same level.

So, a start has been made. To all of the above, we can add that the lacrimal glands always keep our eyes moist, shiny, and alive. We must remember to emphasize this when depicting a living person, and omit it when drawing sculptures.

Something like this. Let's continue. As already mentioned, the eye is a ball. Let's build on this and build it on the sheet.

Let's imagine our eye in the form of an orange. The orange peel is the eyelids. If you cut the peel into the shape of an orange slice, you get an analogy to the structure of the eye. The peel is the thickness of the eyelids with their curve, and the fruit itself is the eyeball. There is only one more detail - the cornea. The transparent membrane that contains the iris and pupil. Look at the picture above - a third of the cornea is under the upper eyelid. Therefore, the central part of the edge of the upper eyelid will protrude slightly forward. The lower eyelid barely touches the cornea, or does not touch it at all and remains at the same level.

Meanwhile, this is not all; in the outline of the eye there is also a large number of features. Including the brow ridges, protrusions, eyebrows, glabella, its shape. Each element needs to be paid attention to. It is necessary to carefully monitor the relief of the eye, taking into account future reductions.

Here again we cannot do without enumeration.

It is necessary to determine and mark the line(s) of the brow ridges. Horizontally, it passes downwards, obliquely in the outer edge of the orbital socket, while moving backwards, leaving the border of the transition of planes in the area of the temporal part. You need to remember and pay attention to the protrusions located on the glabella and in the eyebrow area. These protrusions also need to be outlined, because in the plastic surgery of the eye shape, in addition to the eye itself, the supraorbital and superciliary arches play a large role.

After marking the brow ridges, you can try to determine the cut lines of the eyes. The bridge of the nose is located above the lacrimal tubercles, at the level of the upper eyelids or slightly above, but not below.

Starting from the line of the eye incision, guide yourself along the bridge of the nose, placing the tear ducts on this line, and placing the corners of the eyes near it, or just above/slightly below the tear tubercles.

Having outlined the shape of the eye, determine the fit of the eyeball and pupil. After determining the size and shape of the eyeball, you can draw the eyelids. The eyelid should fit the shape of the eyeball, while taking into account the thickness of the eyelids themselves and the nature of the bend. Remember - you need to show the thickness of the eyelid in perspective reduction

Fourth.

The nature of the eye shape. Its shape, like the shape of other elements, greatly depends on nationality and individual characteristics person. And yet, the eyes have a common structure for all. See picture above. When depicting the eye in a linear diagram, it is clear that when viewed from the front, the eye appears in the form of a parallelogram; in profile, the eye has a triangular shape, and when viewed in a three-quarter position, it is a rectangular trapezoid.

In a linear form, the wider the eye section, the more distal the corners of the eyes are located relative to each other, thereby widening the eyelids. Picture above.

The teardrop is shaped like a head and plays an important role in plasticity. Its tip is directed not along the eye line, but slightly downward. At the same time, it forms a barely noticeable angle in the upper part, moving to the upper corner of the bend of the eyelids. The lower part of the lacrimal tubercle is directed almost horizontally, forming an even less noticeable angle, then smoothly bending upward towards the outer corner of the eye.

You also cannot help but notice the difference in size. The upper half is noticeably larger than the lower - because the upper eyelid has a greater curve than the lower.

As a practice, I suggest you copy the two drawings above. They represent the eyes of the plaster head of David. A simple, non-living form. Laconic and dry, which is easy to understand and quite simple to depict.

When drawing the eye, make sure that its surface should be inclined relative to the vertical - the upper eyelid and the central part of the cornea protrude forward, while the lower edge of the cornea and the lower eyelid are deeper.

When drawing eyelids, the upper one should be highlighted, the lower one should be lightly outlined.

It is very useful to better understand the structure and shape of the eye to draw with a living model. For example, looking in the mirror, draw your own eyes. Try to build on the shape of the eyeball and cornea, rather than sketching the visible surface.

From words to deeds. Try copying the following pictures. They will help you understand how to draw correctly human eye.

Your hand needs to feel everything on its own. The eye, turning in space, tends to contract. Accordingly, we can train according to the following scheme: we draw a schematic diagram of the eye. We choose a random point of view and try to draw what we get. That is, a prospective reduction.

That's all. When copying, try to make the eyes emotional and alive. When painting the entire head of a person, his portrait, you will have to convey the mood of the eyes, drawing them taking into account the environment and lighting. Many times the eyes will appear dead and blurry. Well, nothing - experience and more experience. Over time you will be able to draw eyes better.

Front. Despite the fact that the drawing is very drawn, it is convenient to copy it

A softer option

So you learned how to draw eyes, I hope it was interesting and informative. Now you can pay attention to the lesson “” - it is just as interesting and exciting. Share the lesson on in social networks and show your results to your friends.

How to draw eyes with a pencil? Each of us has a rough idea of what the human eye looks like and can draw at least this primitive image:

But, since you are puzzled by the question of how to draw an eye step by step, apparently you want to get more.

First, I advise you to go to the mirror and carefully examine your eyes. Simply studying an object always reveals a lot of new things. I remember school lesson drawing, in which we were given a task. I drew the best I could and brought it to the teacher for checking. And Natalya Maksimovna advised me to take a close look at her eyes. “Pay attention,” she said, “we have eyelids and folds under the eyes. They need to be drawn too.” At that moment it became a real discovery for me - it turns out that if you look at something with all your attention, and not just scribble from memory, the object will reveal its new facets to us. You just need to add a few details and the eye starts to look completely different. He becomes more alive, real.

Over the next few years, until I graduated from school, I drew a lot of self-portraits sitting in front of the mirror. And what bigger hand worked with a pencil, the better the result. Gradually, the drawing and the reflection in the mirror began to resemble each other, which was initially not observed at all. The longer I painted, the less doubt I had about choosing a profession. I definitely wanted to be.

In this lesson I want to show you how to draw realistic eyes, the volume of eyeballs, and pupils. If you understand the structure of the eye, then everything will become easier and more understandable.

The eye is based on a ball, which is hidden in a special hole in the skull (orbit). The ball cannot be illuminated evenly. Some part of it will be in the shadow, some in the light, and between light and shadow there is a territory of chiaroscuro. Accordingly, the white in front of the eyes (the white field around the colored circle) will not be uniformly white. Below I will demonstrate this more clearly.

The iris of the eye, the same one that can be green, blue, brown and in rare cases purple, is a rounded bulge extending beyond the eyeball. Accordingly, it will be unevenly illuminated. In fact, the iris does not stick out from the ball that much, but I exaggerated for clarity.

There is skin on top of the eyes that covers most eyeball and forms folds - the upper and lower eyelids.

Want to learn how to draw a child's eyes? How are they different from the eyes of an adult? Look at the photo below. The iris of babies seems much larger in size than that of an adult. In fact, children have a smaller eye opening - the opening between the eyelids through which the eyeball is visible. Over time, as the child grows up, the incision will increase and the eyes will “grow up.” And, as a rule, children's eyes are wide open. They look at the world in surprise and do not judge anyone. Kids are simply saturated with information about the place in which they live.

Gradually, under the influence of society, a person’s character is formed. “Mirror of the Soul” acquires its own special features. Some people have laughing eyes, others have stern ones. You drown in someone's eyes like in the sea. They are bottomless and attractive. But there are eyes that you want to turn away from and never look into them again, because there is nothing there except emptiness or malice.

We will draw big beautiful eyes. How to draw eyes step by step?

Draw 2 parallel lines and divide them into 3 equal segments. Why 3? The distance between the eyes is equal to the length of one eye. It may be a little more or a little less.

For most people, the inner corner of the eye is slightly lower than the upper corner. In other words, people's eyes are a little slanted. This “slantness” is most strongly expressed among the peoples of Asia - the Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Mongols... However, it is also present among Europeans.

The inner corner of the eye is somewhat narrowed. Here is the so-called lacrimal caruncle - a small area Pink colour. Everyone's eye shape is very different. I draw the girl's rather large eyes.

We mark the area that will be occupied by the same tear caruncle on the inner corners of the eyes. Then we draw the iris in the form of a circle. As a rule, the iris is not completely visible. It is partially hidden under the upper eyelid. If you want to draw frightened eyes that are filled with horror, do the opposite - hide part of the iris under the lower eyelid, and leave free space between the upper eyelid and the iris.

Now we draw the pupil exactly in the center of the iris. The size of the pupil depends on the light level. The brighter the light, the smaller the pupil. In the dark, when a person peers somewhere, the pupil becomes 2 times larger. Draw the upper and lower eyelids. The shape and width of the eyelid is different for all people. In older people, the upper eyelid may become completely invisible due to overhanging brow ridges. The fold of the lower eyelid is not so noticeable, but at least, in young people. With age, all wrinkles become more pronounced.

In order for the eyes to look more expressive, they need a beautiful frame, or rather eyebrows. The distance between the eyebrows is greater than the length of the eye. The outer ends of the eyebrows extend beyond the outer corner of the eye. Of course, everyone’s eyebrows are different, but, as a rule, they are adjusted to modern canons of beauty with the help of cosmetics. In the Middle Ages, women shaved their eyebrows. This is such a strange fashion requirement... Perhaps in 100 years they will laugh at our ideas about beauty. Who knows…

In our drawing, the light will fall from the right. We mark the highlights on the iris. These are the lightest spots on the eyes. If you look at your eyes in the mirror, you will see how shiny they are. Why is the glare on the iris? Because the iris is the most convex area of the eye and receives the most light.

Now let's start shading the eyes. We take a sharpened HB pencil (hard-soft) and use neat strokes to fill in the entire drawing, except for the highlights in the eyes.

Gradually build up the tone by changing the direction of the stroke.

We darken the eyebrows, irises, upper and lower eyelids on the left (shadow) side.

We slightly darken the areas on the sides of the nose. We continue to darken the eyes and eyebrows layer by layer.

Now let's draw the eyelashes, some of which are shorter, others longer. We draw eyelashes with short strokes from their roots to the eyebrows.

Make the lash line on the upper eyelid darker. This will give your eyes expressiveness.

Now let's get to the fun part. Let's take a soft pencil (I used 5B) and darken several areas, namely the pupil in the middle of the eye, the iris, paying special attention to the outer edges. We will also darken the eyelash line and the eyelashes themselves on the upper eyelid. Let's highlight the lower eyelashes a little. Let's also make the eyebrow a little darker. As you can see, the eye has come to life. The difference between the right and left parts of the picture is obvious.

We all love to draw something when we're bored. One draws squares at a meeting, the other draws beautiful flowers while waiting phone call. And there are real peephole fanatics. Large and small, children's and women's, beautiful and simple, from two lines and one circle - almost all the pieces of paper on their table are drawn with such eyes. Without any tests or fortune tellers, it is immediately clear that we have a visual person in front of us.

“The eyes are the mirror of the soul” - any visual person will confidently support this phrase. We, people with a visual vector, are sure that by looking at the eyes you can learn absolutely EVERYTHING about a person. “Smart” psychological sites claim that strict people are born with blue eyes, romantic people are born with green eyes, and, of course, witches are born with black eyes. Life contradicts this real world shows that good people those we meet have different colors eyes, as well as evil ones. And although we so want to believe that the eyes are the mirror of the soul, in reality everything is completely different. Or rather, so, but only partly - the rule applies only to visual people. With everyone else, you can’t tell absolutely anything from their eyes.

There is nothing wrong with the obsessive desire to draw eyes. In life, we, the audience, are very emotional. We constantly want to communicate with people, look into their eyes, experience feelings. But this is not always possible - you have to do something on your own, without people. Then the hand automatically reaches for a pencil or pen - and an eye, or a pair of eyes, appears. On paper. Drawn, not alive, but as a replacement, it will do.

If we type the word “eye” into a search engine and switch to picture mode, we will enjoy a huge number of eyes, different types and caliber. Photographed, drawn and even fantastic.

Viewers are ready to watch some of them for more than one minute - as if under hypnosis, we are enchanted by this beauty.

Of course, I would like to learn how to draw beautiful eyes myself. Ideally, in a huge variety. When we feel sad at heart - sad or tear-stained eyes, when we are in love - eyes full of feelings, etc.

But not everyone did well in art classes at school, so they are often upset that they don’t have eyes that convey emotions. Or at least just beautiful.

In this article we will not teach you how to draw eyes like those in the graffiti below, but a couple simple tips, will allow you not just to draw eyes and be afraid that someone will see them, but to proudly display your drawings for everyone to see. So below you will find a simple tutorial.

How to learn to draw eyes

Like anyone a real artist, start with the main thing - think about what you will draw with and on what. To give yourself real pleasure, buy yourself a couple of sheets of good special paper And professional pencil(best in a specialty store for artists). You can also buy colored paper and crayons or charcoal - for subsequent work, when you learn to draw beautifully.

It is best to start practicing drawing beautiful eyes by copying them from photographs or illustrations. Take any fashion magazine and find a portrait of a girl, for example, where the face takes up almost the entire page. Spare some paper and cut out an eye from a magazine. Place a piece of the picture directly on the sheet where you will draw. This will allow you to comply perfect proportion. And although this will be just a redrawing, at the end of the work you will be surprised at how talented you are at drawing eyes.

So, observing the proportions, easily outline the contours of the eye.

Then proceed to the outlines of the cornea. Remember, in order for the eye to turn out alive, not a single detail should be neglected. Be sure to carefully examine the drawing and determine where the highlights are on the pupil - mark them immediately, at the moment of drawing the pupil.

Start redrawing smaller details. Many people don’t realize that drawing beautifully requires being very, very attentive to details. Do not put off this moment for later, look closely at the picture, look at the main details and carefully transfer them to your drawing.

Gradually you will catch everything large quantity details. Many beginners are surprised that a simple lead pencil has so many shades, from light gray to black, and yet this is exactly the case. When drawing, do not experiment and do not deviate from the original - one stroke is wrong and the drawing will disappoint you.
