Many of us are very familiar with all these people whom we could very often see on TV screens in the past, and some of whom we still see. Next, we suggest recalling popular TV presenters from the 90s, and also find out how their further fate.

Arina Sharapova started as the host of the Vesti program on Channel 2, and from 1996 to 1998 she became the host of the Vremya (ORT) information program.

Then Sharapova moved to the “Good Morning” program, and after that she began to rarely appear on air.

In 2014, Arina became president of the School of Arts and Media Technologies, and in the same year she appeared as the host of the Crimea Island project.

Boris Kryuk. From January 13, 1991 to 1999, Boris was the permanent presenter and director of the TV game “Love at First Sight.”

Boris did not disappear from television, he simply became invisible - since May 2001 he became a presenter, director, scriptwriter and general producer TV games "What? Where? When?"

The audience hears only his voice. In the first time after the death of the creator and permanent presenter of the program, Vladimir Voroshilov, the editors hid the name of the new presenter from both viewers and experts: his voice was distorted using a computer.

Alla Volkova was the host of the romantic television show "Love at First Sight" along with Boris Kryuk.

After the closure of this show, Alla married for the third time, works as an editor of all programs produced by the production center "Igra-TV" - "What? Where? When?", "Songs of the 20th Century" and "Cultural Revolution".

Alexander Lyubimov. He came to television as a correspondent and then host of the “Vzglyad” program. From 1995-1998 he became the author and host of the “One on One” program.

Since 2007, he has been an employee of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, and hosted the “Senate” program on the “Russia” channel. Later he was appointed first deputy general director TV channel "Russia".

In August 2011 he left VGTRK, becoming a member political party"Just cause." In November of the same year he left the party and headed RBC TV channel, at the end of 2014 he left his post, but remained on the board of directors.

Svetlana Sorokina. From 1991 to 1997, she was a political commentator and host of the daily news program Vesti. Sorokina’s signature “farewell” songs, with which she closed each issue of Vesti, became especially famous.

From May 2001 to January 2002, she worked on the TV-6 channel in the information program “Today on TV-6” and the talk show “Voice of the People.”

Now Svetlana is a member of the Academy Russian television, former member of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation (2009-2011), teacher High school economics, presenter of the program “In the Circle of Light” on the radio station “Echo of Moscow” and the program “Sorokina” on the TV channel “Dozhd”

In the 80s and early 90s, Tatyana Vedeneeva was perhaps the most popular TV presenter. She ran "Alarm Clock" Good night, kids!" and "Visiting a Fairy Tale" (Aunt Tanya), the program "Morning", "Song of the Year" and many other television shows.

Vedeneeva left television quite suddenly. While vacationing in London, the presenter was delighted with him and decided to extend the trip for a week. I called my work and asked for a few days off.

In Ostankino, no one shared the presenter’s joy about England; Tatyana was categorically offered to return on time or... write a letter of resignation. Vedeneeva did not take the threat seriously. And they took her statement quite seriously.

Now Tatyana is engaged in business. One day, her husband brought her tkemali sauce from Tbilisi. The ex-presenter was inspired by the idea of launching the production of tkemali in Russia. It took several years to study recipes and organize production. Now Tatyana is the owner of the Trest B corporation, and in every metropolitan supermarket you can buy sauces from Vedeneeva.

The peak of Igor Ugolnikov's popularity occurred in the early nineties. First, the program “Both-on!” was aired, followed by the equally funny “Angle Show!” In 1996, Igor released the series of programs “Doctor Angle”.

Afterwards the programs “Good Evening” and “It’s Not Serious!” appeared. But they did not gain popularity.

The official version of Russian television regarding the closure of “Good Evening” - “The program sucks up a lot of money,” Igor said in an interview. “And this is fair: it was daily, it worked a large number of people."

For some time, Igor tried himself in another role: he served as vice president Russian Fund culture, was the director of the House of Cinema. But television didn’t let me go.

Now he produces the television magazine "Wick". He does not forget the acting profession. He starred in several TV series and films.

Ksenia Strizh hosted the programs “At Ksyusha’s”, “Strizh and others”, “Night Rendezvous”... She never had such wild popularity and recognition as during her work in the program “At Ksyusha’s”. In the early 90s there was little music on TV, and Swift invited the most interesting artists.

In 1997, Swift returned from television to radio: there she felt at ease. She was a presenter on the La Minor television channel. After a scandal related to the fact that she appeared on air drunk and laughed at the teeth of her guest Alexander Solodukha, information appeared about her dismissal, but now Ksenia is working on the channel again.

Shenderovich’s last program, which was seen by the mass Russian audience, was called “Free Cheese” and aired on TVS. When TVS closed, Shenderovich gave up on big television.

He began writing for Novaya Gazeta and the Gazeta newspaper, and acquired his own programs on Ekho Moskvy and Radio Liberty. True, Shenderovich didn’t manage to quit TV completely.

On the "Russian Channel Abroad" on Sundays in the final analytical program "Russian Panorama" he hosts his own column - "A Cup of Coffee with Shenderovich", in which he tells former compatriots who have gone to live in Israel and Germany how things are here in Russia.

Ivan Demidov was the permanent presenter music show"MuzOboz". But the mysterious image with the constant dark glasses is a thing of the past.

Demidov chose the post of Deputy Minister of Culture over a television career, and now he heads the Foundation for the Development of Contemporary Art.

Duet of Olga Shelest and Anton Komolov - amazing example professional compatibility and long-term friendship.

After the closure of MTV, the tandem was temporarily revived on the Zvezda channel in the show Starry Evening with Anton Komolov and Olga Shelest, but did not repeat its former success.

Currently Olga is a permanent presenter entertainment show“Girls” and the music competition “Artist” on the Russia-1 channel, the host of the TV game “Understand Me” on the “Carousel” channel, as well as the co-host of the “Temporarily Available” program with Dmitry Dibrov on the TVC channel.

Anton has worked on various TV channels, and since September 5, 2011, together with Elena Abitaeva, he has been hosting the “RUSH-RadioActive Show” on the radio station Europe Plus

Elena Hanga is remembered for her bold and frank program “About This,” which aired on the NTV channel from 1997 to 2000. And if today the topic of sex is a common thing, then for the late 90s it was a real breakthrough.

Later, Hanga hosted the daytime and, of course, much less loud talk show "The Domino Principle", in different time her co-hosts were Elena Starostina, Elena Ishcheeva and Dana Borisova.

Since the fall of 2009, he has been working in unnoticeable projects: he hosts the weekly talk show “Cross Talk” on the Russian English-language channel Russia Today, and broadcasts on the radio station “ TVNZ".

Valery Komissarov. The most pressing topics were discussed on the program “My Family” family life: the assorted heroes willingly “washed dirty linen in public”, discussing their problems in live state channel "Russia".

Housewives watched the program with bated breath (not least because of the impressive host Valery Komissarov) from 1996 to 2003, until it was canceled.

From November 16 to December 30, 2015 - director and host of the “Our Man” program on Russia 1 channel, as well as the creator and owner of the “My Family” food brand.

In addition to Arina Sharapova, there were several other memorable news anchors on ORT/Channel One. One of them is Alexandra Burataeva. In 1995, she moved to work on the ORT television channel and from the same year began hosting the “Time” and “News” programs until 1999.

December 19, 1999 elected deputy State Duma in the single-mandate Kalmyk constituency and was re-elected in 2003 according to the list " United Russia".

From March to August 2013, Alexandra worked as PR director of the Sergei Bezrukov Theater, and from September 2013 - president of the production company So-Druzhestvo.

Igor Vykhukholev is also a former presenter information programs"News" and "Time" on Channel One. In 2000-2004, he sometimes replaced his colleagues in the Vremya information program.

Went for a promotion. Since 2005 - chief editor of night and morning news broadcasts of the Directorate of Information Programs of Channel One. In 2006 he moved to VGTRK. Since 2006, he has recorded interviews with political figures for the Vesti 24 news channel.

Igor Gmyza. In 1995, after the creation of the ORT television channel, he received an invitation to become the host of the “Time” program. He hosted the program in 1996-1998, alternating with Arina Sharapova.

He worked as the presenter of “Novosti” until the spring of 2004: first he anchored daytime and evening episodes, towards the end of the work I switched to morning broadcasts, after which he left Channel One.

Having passed short experience worked as a political press secretary, went to radio. Since January 2006 - political commentator for Radio Russia, host of the daily interactive talk show "Minority Opinion"

Sergey Dorenko. In the early 90s he was a political observer at VGTRK and host of the Vesti program. Then the host of the “Time” program on the first channel “Ostankino”, and since January 1994 - the host of the “Podrobnosti” program on the RTR channel.

Then he was the chief producer of the Directorate of Information Programs and Analytical Broadcasting of ORT and the host of the daily program "Time".

Despite the fact that he gained his fame thanks to television, Dorenko has repeatedly stated that he does not watch television. Currently he hosts his own program on YouTube, and since 2014 he has been the editor-in-chief of the radio station “Moscow Speaks”.

Marina: Previously, morning programs were recorded. Everyone was comfortable: the presenters looked cheerful, and, if something happened, there was an opportunity to record a new take. But you can’t fool the viewer. People on the other side of the screen sense a catch.

That's why we go live, no fools. The exception is recording interviews with guests. Unfortunately, rare people can get up at 4-5 in the morning without any problems to come to our broadcast (one of the few capable of such feats is Sergei Bezrukov). Or, for example, we want to congratulate someone on their birthday, but the person is going on tour, or just wants to take a day off. You have to film in advance.

Everyone thinks that the presenters' working day begins at 4 am. This is only partly true. In fact, we arrive at Ostankino around one in the afternoon. First we get ready - it only takes us to get dressed, put on makeup and do our hair more than an hour, not to mention discussing the script and other important points. Next, we begin recording interviews with guests. Sometimes the recordings go by quickly, and sometimes you feel like you’re on an assembly line. There are so many guests that after a while you get tired. We can only rely on the editors, who suggest questions for the interlocutor through the earpiece. But we don’t show that we’re tired; we can’t disappoint the viewer!

Around 9 pm we start working on Far East, we conduct a full broadcast, finish at one or two in the morning Moscow time, and go to bed. Ostankino has special cots for us. I personally am not used to sleeping with makeup on my face, so I have to first remove the makeup, then get up an hour earlier, that is, around four, to put on makeup again. And then - on the air. WITH good mood and a smile. No other way.

Novel: Before morning filming, I set myself three alarms at once: at 4:00, 4:01 and 4:02, just in case. Of course, the schedule is not simple, and if all the broadcasts were conducted by one person, he would have a very difficult time. But, fortunately, there are many presenters on Good Morning, each one gets one or two entries a week. But the rest of the time you can get a good night's sleep.

Marina: Of course, with such a schedule, staying cheerful is not so easy. Helps me with this good tea(I don’t drink coffee; on the contrary, it makes me sleepy), and something sweet, for example, glazed cheese.

I also very vividly imagine the people who watch me on TV. Mom cooking breakfast big family, grandmother, busy around the house early in the morning. We have a very large and very different audience, from retirees to young people, I simply have no right to disappoint them with my tired appearance. Such thoughts are very disciplined.

Novel: It’s true, you can’t help but think about the audience. People see us at the very beginning of the day, we need to give them positive energy so that the morning starts with good emotions. We try to convey good news and good mood to them.

First broadcast

Marina: I remember very well my first filming for “ Good morning" Then I was struck by how the mobile studio looked early in the morning. I imagined a large, bright room from which the entire center of Moscow was at a glance. In fact, it turned out to be dark as far as the eye could see. At five in the morning, when the broadcast began, I wanted to say not “Good morning”, but “ Good night" I must say that on the air I felt like a duck to water; after all, I had worked in news for seven years before that, but I was still nervous. New program, new format, everything is unusual. Then my co-host Timur Solovyov helped me a lot: he constantly joked to make me feel more comfortable, “insured” me if I suddenly stumbled out of habit, and suggested some points.

Marina Kim, host of the Good Morning program on Channel One

In general, we have very warm relations in our team. There are many presenters, pairs are constantly changing, but I can’t remember a single case where someone had a conflict or quarrel with someone else. Everyone works calmly and with pleasure.

Novel: We really have a team where everyone is very different, but at the same time everyone is surprisingly sociable. Everyone insures each other and supports each other. Before the first broadcast, they really encouraged me not to worry. Although, as soon as the camera turned on, the excitement went away by itself.

Presenter's work: solo and duet

Novel: It’s not difficult to work independently or in pairs with a co-host; on the contrary, it’s a pleasure. With a partner there is more room for creativity, when you are alone you have your own nuances. But I still prefer working with a co-host.

Roman Budnikov and Larisa Verbitskaya, hosts of the Good Morning program on Channel One

Marina: When I worked in news, I was a kind of lone wolf. I really didn’t like it when there were two presenters on air. There are different specifics: passions run high, everyone is tense, one mistake can cost a career. It is quite possible that this mistake will not be yours, but your partner’s, but both are responsible for the final result.

Here it is different. “Good morning” is a sincere, friendly conversation. It is more interesting for the viewer when several people participate in the conversation. In general, I can’t imagine this format with one presenter.

Improvisation and script

Marina: Of course, our wonderful editors prepare for each broadcast detailed scenarios, but live broadcast is live broadcast. If you need to turn on a news block, you have to shorten the lines on the go, no matter how brilliant they may be.

Novel: Not only does the script have room for improvisation, impromptu is encouraged. In each “half-hour” (that’s what we call the period of broadcasting between news broadcasts), we always have a gap in time to add something of our own. By the way, we are preparing for improvisation while the plot is going on. The audience watches the video, and we think that we will talk in a minute.

Marina: And then, we communicate with the guests, during the conversation questions appear that are not written in the script, new lines, jokes, this is what makes the program truly alive.

Incidents on the set

Novel: Anything can happen on air. Sometimes the microphone turns off. It happens that by mistake they air it at the wrong time - a little earlier or a little later. You have to somehow get out and navigate the course of the play. But, to be honest, I don’t remember any specific case now.

Marina: Yes, indeed, there are plenty of incidents. We recently talked with Alexey Glyzin. He talked about children's music competition. I decided to ask the musician how he feels when he hears his songs performed by little contestants. I say: “Do you like it when guys perform songs ... by Serov?” I don’t know why I remembered this no less wonderful musician, it’s some kind of cloudiness! Alexey turned out to be a very tactful person - after my reservation he didn’t even raise an eyebrow, he calmly continued the conversation.

Marina Kim, host of the Good Morning program on Channel One

Here's another funny situation. Sometimes we do live broadcasts on the street. And since the weather a couple of weeks ago was not at all like spring, especially in the mornings (our face turned so blue that no makeup could help, and the sound guys could hear our teeth chattering), we had to be creative and find some kind of “frost-resistant” guest. They did - they decided to invite a bear to the studio (with a trainer, of course). I had to stand in the frame side by side with the beast. I admit, it was a little scary. Especially after the bear ate the broadcast microphone.

Guests on air

Novel: Almost all the guests in our program are interesting, creative people, with whom it is pleasant to communicate. To be honest, I can’t even single out just one. It happens, by the way, that we ourselves suggest people who can be invited. Mostly, of course, guest editors deal with this issue, but if you suddenly happen to meet interesting person- why not talk to him on air.

Marina: I really love my job also because thanks to it I can communicate with amazing people. I remember once I had a chance to talk with Alexei Leonov, the first person to go into outer space. He is unique! No "star" husk, arrogance or anything like that. An absolutely open, friendly man.

I also remember our conversation with gymnast Elena Isinbaeva. We have small children, almost the same age, so while the camera wasn’t filming, we only talked about formula, diapers and other topics that young mothers usually discuss. Elena even gave me a couple of valuable tips. In general, I admire that she consciously decided to raise her child without turning to nannies. And at the same time, she is not going to change the rhythm of life - a month after giving birth, she started training again.

Marina Kim, host of the Good Morning program on Channel One

Luxurious guest - Gennady Khazanov. When he appears in the studio, all film crew knows that she will be provided with a shock charge of positivity for several days ahead. Even when the camera is rolling, you have to hold on to the chair so as not to fall from laughing! But only 20 percent of jokes get broadcast, the rest remains behind the scenes.

Some guests bring back pleasant memories. I remember in my youth I really liked the group “Lube”, I literally listened to it. I especially loved the song “The night is knocking on the window like an apple.” And then Nikolai Rastorguev comes to our studio. We talked and asked what song he would perform for our viewers. And, imagine, he starts playing exactly this song. I literally got goosebumps. It was so pleasant and touching. It was like flipping through an album with old photographs.

About signs

Novel: I’m not superstitious, so I don’t have any special rituals, like entering the studio only with my left foot or drinking from only one cup. You need to ask your colleagues. Suddenly they will tell you something interesting.

Marina: I'll tell you a little secret that no one knows about. Usually, before sending us to the studio, costume designer Lyudmila asks: should we pour some tea so that we have something to drink during the broadcast (yes, yes, the tea and coffee that we drink on camera are not props). So, if a mug with a black, aromatic drink appears on the table, and two lumps of sugar lie next to it, I understand that the shooting will go calmly and smoothly. If something goes wrong, Lyudmila takes care of the guests, she simply doesn’t have time for our tea, there is no doubt that the broadcast will be nervous.

Half a century ago to become an announcer central television it was not so simple: candidates had to have a diploma in philology, and, as a result, impeccable Russian language, impeccable diction, and oratory skills. Today, the requirements for television journalists are completely different - a charismatic beauty is more likely to become a TV presenter than a journalism graduate with honors.

ELLE's review features the most beautiful TV presenters in Russia, who look so impressive on camera that any professional imperfections can be forgiven.

The Russian TV presenter of the Georgian spill is one of the most energetic and sociable representatives of the media industry, a successful businesswoman and one of brightest women Russian TV - in a word, an example to follow. The secret of 41-year-old Kandelaki being in such great shape is simple: the star exhausts herself with training power load- this is what follows from her Instagram. Promoting a sports lifestyle, Tina uses heavy artillery - not only dumbbells, but also more serious weights.

The police major ended up on television literally for beautiful eyes: the girl woke up famous after winning the Miss Universe beauty contest in 2002. With receiving the title of the first world beauty, Oksana’s career in the domestic media business began: first, as the host of the programs “Good night, kids!”, “Saturday evening” on the First federal channel, and then as an actress in television series. Many fell victim to Fedorova’s charm eligible bachelors, even the main “natural blonde” of the country, Nikolai Baskov, could not resist.

With her exotic appearance, the beauty and clever woman - formerly the host of Vesti, and now the Good Morning program - conquers even overseas gentlemen. In the past, the girl had a high-profile affair with Hollywood director Brett Ratner. The star boyfriend was head over heels in love and even introduced Kim to his parents. And if not for a rival in the person of Mariah Carey, the Moscow world would have walked at a Hollywood wedding. However, the presence of such a competitor is already very flattering.

The fact that Dana Brorisova was the first Russian TV presenter, filmed for a men's glossy magazine, already speaks eloquently for itself. As the host of the Army Store program, Dana became a sex symbol for the whole Russian army. For the image of a textbook blonde, cultivating the image of a sex diva, the tabloids called Borisova younger sister Pamela Anderson. TV ratings for her programs were the best proof - the male half of the TV viewers clung to the screen when the presenter appeared on it. Many years have passed since then, Dana almost disappeared from television, devoting herself to her daughter, but in media circles she continues to maintain her reputation as a sex symbol.

Anastasia Chernobrovina is one of the most recognizable TV presenters in the country: every day of Russians begins with her signature “Good morning, Russia!” On her channel, Chernobrovina is considered the first beauty. The host of the Morning of Russia program manages to attract the attention of early-waking viewers with just one radiant smile.
