Acoustic measurements. Competition for participation in the international laboratory "acoustic reading" - center for dramaturgy and directing Our services for measuring the acoustic parameters of rooms

The second laboratory “Acoustic Reading” was created with the goal of uniting creative youth, transferring to them the experience and working methods of the founders of the SounDrama studio. Interdisciplinary program allows you to learn new forms musical theater, as well as new ways of interaction between directors, composers, and choreographers during the rehearsal process.

The program includes:
1) Theoretical part. Lectures and trainings on the working methods of the SounDrama studio.
2) Independent practical work each team under the supervision of laboratory managers.
3) Combining excerpts of commands into a single performance. Direct work of teams with laboratory managers, demonstration of their working method in practice in the staging process.

The final show of the second laboratory “Acoustic Reading” will be the first event and at the same time the launch of the CDR site at Povarskaya, 20, which will begin its work as a special space for musical and dramatic experimentation.

We invite you to participate: composers, directors, choreographers, artists, dancers and performing musicians from different countries, as well as music and theater critics and theorists. The main focus of the work will be the improvisational method in music and theater, the creation of a musical score and performance score directly during the rehearsal process. Project participants will be invited to explore the poetry of iconic Soviet writers and poets, in particular Andrei Voznesensky. The result of the project will be a performance, which will be based on episodes created by teams under the artistic direction of the laboratory teachers.

The fundamental innovation of the second laboratory “Acoustic Reading” is the inclusion of creative teams choreographers and dancers. One of the leading teachers of the laboratory will be director Klim.
The 2019 laboratory will be not only practical, but also theoretical. The Center for Drama and Directors theater together with the magazine “Zamysly” is organizing a research laboratory based on the work of the main laboratory. Its goal and objectives will be to identify and theoretical analysis special method of work of the composer and directors in rehearsal process when creating a performance, as well as features creative method soundrama. The results of the laboratory’s work will be published in the fourth issue of the journal “Zamysly”. Architectural and construction acoustics is one of those applied physical sciences where theoretical calculations of the acoustic efficiency of non-standard structures can only show an order of magnitude. Without carrying out test and full-scale measurements it is impossible to high degree accurately predict the soundproofing or sound-absorbing properties of new structures. That is why the Acoustic Group company has been successfully operating and developing its own acoustic laboratory for 15 years. Measurements are made in strict accordance with current standards, as well as according to the company’s own proven methods.

In 2004, a system of small reverberation chambers was launched in Moscow, which makes it possible to measure the sound insulation characteristics of fragments of building structures with sound insulation values of up to 80 dB with the guaranteed absence of indirect noise transmission paths. At the same time, a high-level chamber (HLC) is also used to measure reverberation sound absorption coefficients according to
GOST 26417-85 "Sound-absorbing building materials. Test method in a small reverberation chamber."

For measuring the sound absorption characteristics of samples building materials(primarily the normal sound absorption coefficient), the company uses three different acoustic interferometers (Kundt tubes): low-frequency, with a measurement range of 50 Hz; mid-frequency (125 - 2000 Hz) and high-frequency (1600 - 8000 Hz).

The dynamic characteristics of elastic building materials are measured using vibration stands: small and large. These measurements are carried out in accordance with the GOST R 53378-2009 standard "Acoustic materials used in floating floors of residential buildings. Method for determining dynamic stiffness."

For comparative tests To reduce the level of impact noise with various elastic materials, a reference screed is used, located in a system of small reverberation chambers. The source of the impact noise is a standardized "poplar" Look-Line machine.

The results obtained in the laboratory are used by Acoustic Group engineers in the design of various objects, the development and modernization of new acoustic materials, for educational and educational activities. If necessary, our engineer, for example from St. Petersburg, can send a request in the morning to test any new designed structure and by the evening receive graphs of the effectiveness of this design from Moscow. The presence of such capabilities significantly improves the quality, speed, and, most importantly, reliability of acoustic design.

In the Acoustic Group laboratory, acoustic measurements were and are regularly carried out in the interests of our regular partners: the Saint-Gobain and Knauf concerns, the Nayada company, as well as special government customers.

Each project is unique and requires an individual approach. At the same time, integrated solutions have proven to be the most effective in the field of construction and repair work.

Realizing this, the renovation department specialists tried to combine everything necessary for the construction and renovation of apartments, houses and offices. The company employs managers, engineers, designers, and builders on a permanent basis. The first ones find out the client’s needs, the second ones work on the system of engineering communications, sound insulation and others. technical issues, still others create a design project, according to which builders will carry out repairs.

The TechnoSonus company produces all types of measurements related to architectural and building acoustics. Our employees have high-precision measuring equipment and specialized software at their disposal.

Acoustic measurements are an integral part in the design of sound insulation and room acoustics. They must be carried out not only at the initial stage of the project in order to assess the existing condition of the room or structure, but also upon completion of construction and finishing works(receiving measurements).

Our services for measuring the acoustic parameters of premises:

  • Visit of an acoustics specialist, on-site consultation
    • Initial consultation with an acoustics engineer, site inspection, problem statement.
  • Noise and vibration measurements
    • Measuring noise and vibration parameters in residential premises, workplaces, residential areas, etc. in order to assess their compliance with hygienic standards.
  • Experimental determination of the sound insulation index of enclosing structures (walls, partitions and ceilings)
    • Full-scale measurement of sound insulation of building envelopes by reproducing broadband noise in residential buildings, hotels, office buildings, hospitals and educational institutions and etc.
  • Measuring the reduced floor impact noise level
    • With the help of special equipment (impact machine), a standard impact effect on the floor is created, under which the level of reduced impact noise is determined
  • Measurement of reverberation time (RT) and other acoustic parameters of the room.

Based on the results of the acoustic measurements, a report from an acoustician is drawn up with a measurement protocol and a conclusion on the compliance or non-compliance of the measured parameters with regulated standards. Based on the measurement results, if necessary, recommendations are made for sound insulation, vibration insulation and acoustic finishing.
