Paintings on the theme of autumn by famous artists. Charming Russian autumn. Russian artists about this time of year. Vasily Polenov -Golden Autumn

ARTISTS PAINT AUTUMN

The artist painted autumn,
Trying to cheat time.
Alley, old station,
A passerby and a little rain,

Cornices, pigeons, window,
In which there is a patch of sky.
And the clatter of dominoes
From the park diagonally,

Tired steps are a dark trail,
Rowan sadness, the last leaf,
A bouquet thrown on the ground,
A wet plaster bugler.

The taste of a kiss on the corner
Chills from the sharp “Goodbye!”
The confusion of someone's thoughts out loud,
And a runaway tram,

Autumn cloudy finale -
A frozen moment of flying days...
He held my hand for a while.
Alone, among other people's passions...

GOLDEN AUTUMN ISAAC LEVITAN

Landscapes by Isaac Levitan are often called masterpieces. He didn’t just depict landscapes familiar to many. Sometimes they say: “The artist sang the beauty of nature.” This expression means that he put all the power of love into his paintings. Levitan's paintings are truly full of love for native nature. They look like beautiful music and to refined poetry. Looking at Levitan’s painting “Golden Autumn”, you remember both the music of Russian composers and the best lines of Russian poetry about autumn. "Charm of the eyes", "in crimson and gold clad woods“- these words of Pushkin are very suitable for “Golden Autumn”.

On the canvas we see a characteristic Russian landscape. Calm day in mid-autumn. The sun is shining, but not so bright. The Russian expanse opens before your eyes: fields, groves, a river. The blue sky with white clouds on the horizon converges with the line of the forest. A narrow river with low banks crosses the picture vertically, helping the viewer's eye to see the perspective. With clear vertical strokes, the artist shows the movement of water.

In front of us is a birch grove. Birch is a very picturesque tree. Levitan, like many artists, loved birch trees and often depicted them in his landscapes. Autumn has already painted nature in its autumn colors: yellow, golden orange. They are so bright that at first it seems that the whole picture is painted in different tones yellow color. But this is only at first glance. Looking closely, we see that the grass in the foreground is still green, but has just begun to turn yellow. And the distant field, beyond which several village houses are visible, is still green. And the grove on the right bank is still cheerfully green.

But our attention is focused precisely on the yellow birch trees. Their foliage flutters in the wind, shimmers like gold in sunlight. There is no sadness in the landscape; on the contrary, the mood is peaceful and calm. This is golden autumn. She captivates with beauty.

Vasily Polenov. Golden autumn.

In many of his creations, the artist V.D. Polenov depicted the Motherland and the Oka River. Near it he was destined to live many years of creativity, favorite work and inspiration, the source of which was the local nature. The artist never ceased to admire her, either in his letters or in his works. The painting “Golden Autumn” is the quintessence of this love and it is clear that part of the author’s soul has forever frozen in the work, filling it with warmth and soft inner light.

The colors and paints are surprisingly richly and capaciously conveyed - the magic penetrated into the smooth lines and curves of the water surface, into the skies hanging over the hills, into the forest and the dome of the church, reviving and making it all three-dimensional and real. The austere splendor of the surroundings off the banks of the Oka attracts the eye - the warmth of the latter autumn days, seems to flow from the canvas and spread throughout the hall. Sunny bunnies and the glare from the water makes you squint and smile, remembering similar days from your life. The hills, outlined by soft, flowing lines, slowly disappear, dissolving into the boundless distance. And only a tiny part of the huge plain falls into the artist’s print - the river, and the trees, and the huge hills, like brushstrokes of some large other picture.

Autumn is just waking up here, it has not yet breathed on the trees and many of them are still in summer clothes, only a few have changed colors. Gold and crimson now live their own lives, diluting the greenery and adding charm to the shore shimmering in the sun. A small forest road invites you into the forest, where the last flowers still bloom, the smell of grass and pine needles, and the last warmth emanates from the earth. Looking at this picture, you want to forget for a second about business and problems, dissolve in the gentle beauty and harmony, think about the smooth and leisurely flow of life, which is so far from today’s cities seething with energy.

In a time of bright sadness and quiet joy. A rare case of a riot of colors in middle lane for the artist it is a reason to add warm colors to the canvas. Red rowan leaves, bright yellow birch leaves, golden yellow linden leaves and yellow-brown oak leaves. Even larch in the fall succumbs to the general mood and burns with a canary color against the blue sky. If you're lucky, the golden autumn will turn out to be fine and gentle. We look at pictures about the most romantic time of the year together with Natalya Letnikova.

Isaac Levitan. Gold autumn. 1895. Tretyakov Gallery

Canvas from the “major series” by Isaac Levitan. “I was passionately drawn to work, I got carried away, and now for a week now I haven’t taken my eyes off the canvas day after day...”- the artist wrote to his friend Vasily Polenov, working on the autumn canvas. The painter saw a landscape bursting with yellow and barely giving off green in the Tver province on the banks of the Syezha River not far from the Gorka estate, where he had a heartfelt interest. Is this why his “Golden Autumn” is like the smile of nature. The brightest of the hundred autumn paintings Levitan.

Stanislav Zhukovsky. Autumn. Veranda. 1911. Timing

Cozy corner country house, where you can find yourself eye to eye with the autumn park. It seems that you can reach the top of the spruce tree with your hand and, if desired, pluck that lemon-yellow leaf from the birch tree. See the horizon and, inhaling the cool, clean air, sit down on a bench under the sliding rays of the autumn sun. Stanislav Zhukovsky dearly loved autumn and ancient Russian estates. A century ago, the collected bouquet has not lost any of its bright colors and only emphasizes the autumn unity of the inhabitants of the house and its surroundings.

Boris Kustodiev. Autumn in the provinces. Tea party. 1926. Tretyakov Gallery

Merchants in an autumn interior. Boris Kustodiev diluted his favorite theme with warm colors. Fiery red maples and yellowing gardens near provincial houses make autumn especially cozy. That very Indian summer, which temporarily reconciles with the beautiful, but, alas, inevitably falling leaves. The clear air is filled with the aroma of leaves, watermelon and fresh bread from a small bakery. And, of course, no autumn is scary if there is a cat nearby. Along with a samovar.

Ilya Ostroukhov. Gold autumn. 1886. Tretyakov Gallery

Isaac Brodsky. Gold autumn. 1913. Museum-apartment of I.I. Brodsky

I saw the village chores behind the bright riot of colors future representative socialist realism Isaac Brodsky. Ilya Repin’s student became famous for his Leninism much later, and in 1913 the artist preferred paintings from revolutionary life romantic landscapes. Framed by autumn foliage, as if in the palm of your hand, the village stretches out. Lives his hectic life- the carts rattle, the voices ring. Only the colors change - from red gold, through a white winter landscape - to a riot of greenery and again to gilding.

Petr Petrovichev. Boring Garden. Autumn. 1905. Private collection

The corner of the Neskuchny Garden, penetrated by the bright sun, really does not look boring on a fine autumn day. At least the only movement in the deserted park is the slow waters of the river and the long gray shadows commanded by the sun. The house on the hill communicates that the park is inhabited by its appearance. And you can’t say at all that this is part of noisy Moscow. The artist Pyotr Petrovichev came to the capital from the Yaroslavl province on foot - to study painting with Levitan and paint Kuskovo, Kuzminki, Neskuchny Garden... It was much easier for the master of lyrical landscape to find solitude in the capital city a hundred years ago.

Konstantin Somov. Versailles Park in autumn. 1898. State Russian Museum

The center of Moscow or the Royal Park near Paris. Golden autumn is good in any place where the foliage changes color to suit autumn. New picture day after day - like a spectrum of shades. Know mix on the palette: linen, Dijon, mustard... And now the alley is covered with rust, and the color of the Tuscan sun is overshadowed by Parisian sadness. But the canvas will preserve “a fairy-tale palace, open for everyone to see”... As if there were only a few days left until the winter rest. And the leaves glow, and the sky turns blue, not knowing the autumn winds and the coming cold.

Autumn in painting, today I’m not quite regular topic. I suggest you today just take a break from the hustle and bustle, worries, and problems. Now is a wonderful time - autumn. One of my favorite times of the year. Autumn is so different for each of us, for some it is sad, with rain and piercing winds, but for others autumn is a golden time. In autumn, you can gather armfuls of yellow and red leaves, wander in the rain, breathe in the autumn coolness, wander through the forest, pick mushrooms, enjoy the beauty of fallen leaves, sit with a cup of hot tea in your hands and admire the beauty of autumn from the window. Wander through a cozy park with benches among fallen leaves, listen to the sound of autumn rain.

For me, autumn is one of the most beautiful and romantic times of the year. Autumn is a mysterious, mysterious, romantic, lyrical, thoughtful time. The unusually bright colors that autumn gives us provide room for creativity. Autumn is such a generous and bright time. Only in autumn is there such an abundance of fruits and vegetables on our table, in autumn the leaves on the trees seem to be painted by nature in bright colors, and in autumn you can endlessly admire the beauty of chrysanthemums...

Autumn is the most picturesque time of the year, it is a whole palette of bright, warm colors from light yellow to the darkest gray shades, and in terms of emotions, these are transitions: joy, sadness, smile, sorrow...

Since it’s autumn in painting today, I’ll say a few words about what painting is. Painting is a kind visual arts, which is associated with the transfer of images by applying paints to a flexible or solid base. Painting can be on any basis: canvas, silk, paper, leather, etc. Painting techniques: oil, gouache, watercolor, acrylic...Painting is created by our nature, man and time. Painting, like other forms of art, performs a cognitive, philosophical, aesthetic, social and educational function.

"Leaf Fall"

Ivan Bunin

The forest is like a painted tower,
Lilac, gold, crimson,
A cheerful, motley wall
Standing above a bright clearing.

Birch trees with yellow carving
Glisten in the blue azure,
Like towers, the fir trees are darkening,
And between the maples they turn blue
Here and there through the foliage
Clearances in the sky, like a window.
The forest smells of oak and pine,
Over the summer it dried out from the sun,
And Autumn is a quiet widow
Enters his motley mansion...

Autumn never repeats itself; every year it brings something new, delighting and delighting us. I suggest you relax and watch a video of autumn, gentle, touching and very beautiful. This video brought a smile, harmony in my soul, and admiration. I wish everyone Have a good mood, health, joy, warmth, a sea of smiles, let only good things surround you.

May this autumn be the most unforgettable for you!

The most inspiring time of the year is autumn. It is multifaceted, awakens very contradictory feelings, and has become the culprit of many beautiful works in literature, music and visual arts.

It is not always comfortable to introduce a child to this time of year directly on the street, in a park, in a forest; the view from the window is sometimes limited, but they can help you if you just get an album with reproductions. In addition, this way you will hit two targets with one shot, introducing your child to autumn and the arts.

What pictures of autumn will be the most interesting and educational for children?

"Golden Autumn" - I. Levitan

Most famous landscape this time of year. The picture is perfect for a child's first acquaintance with autumn, because it depicts its beginning. Despite the fact that the main color scheme of the picture is yellow, autumn, the fields in the distance are still green, here and there there is unfaded grass, and the grove on the right bank waves its green foliage welcomingly. The sky is clear, the weather is calm and pleasant.

This wonderful canvas will help your child recognize the first and highlight her positive traits. You can have a fascinating conversation about Russian fields and birch trees.

"Golden Autumn" - V. Polenov

This is no less a wonderful representative. Looking at the picture, you will be able to consolidate with your child knowledge about the early, first signs of autumn, and form pleasant associations.

You can try to introduce your baby to the concept of “Indian summer”. If he is not ready for this yet, do not insist.

in the fall" - I. Brodsky

Looking at the selected autumn pictures for children, we find ourselves in a garden where golden autumn already reigns. What does it mean? Look for the answer with your child in the thinning tree crowns, in the fallen leaves on the garden paths. Note that the day can be pleasant, clear and sunny even in mid-autumn.

How did we guess that the sun was shining brightly? The artist makes us understand this by depicting bright shadows from trees on the ground. ABOUT wonderful day The figures of numerous passers-by in the garden also speak. Who would go for a walk in bad weather?

"Autumn. Veranda" - S. Zhukovsky

A slightly unusual view for us (young researchers) - this is no longer a forest or a park, but still - autumn. Many autumn landscapes, paintings show us houses, roads and villages in a golden natural frame, and here is a veranda. Table, vase, flowers... Speaking of flowers. Which ones bloom in autumn?

It is noteworthy that there is also a lot of light, warmth and sun. You can also clearly see the Christmas trees, which for some reason remained green. Why?

"Late Autumn" - K. Korovin

So we got to last picture autumn. It is important for children to see that late fall- this is not a sad end to a beautiful, warm season full of bright colors, but the beginning of a new one. After all, despite the fact that all the leaves have fallen, the grass has withered, the air is already filled with a milky fog, and there is snow on the remaining rare leaves and blades of grass. We are on the threshold of winter.

When choosing autumn pictures for children, try to ensure that they are light, bright and carry positive emotions. Just like in the examples given in this article. Even if the theme of autumn is not very pleasant for you, an adult, you should not pass on your negative thoughts and stereotypes to your child. Even if the autumn paintings and photos you find are unknown to the whole world, and the authors are provincial landscape painters, the main thing is the quality of the work and the feelings it will evoke in a tender child’s soul.
