This happened in Canada as part of a concert dedicated to the Winter Olympic Games in Calgary. After Pavliashvili’s letter, in which the singer recognized the value of Azerbaijani culture and expressed respect for the traditions and people of the country, and also noted the famous hospitality of the Azerbaijanis, the musician received permission to perform in the country.

A month after receiving permission, Soso Pavliashvili performed in Baku at the Named Palace. The musician gave a solo charity concert.
