Maria Lesovaya is a model, blogger and food expert who, until 2001, was a simple psychology student from Yekaterinburg. At the age of 21, she took part in the television project “Top Model in Russian” and eventually won. Initially, no one bet on Masha, but with her victory she proved that the secret of success is individuality and determination.
Family
Masha's parents have nothing to do with the fashion industry. However, they always supported their daughter in all her endeavors and, without stopping, watched every episode of “Top Model in Russian.”
Now Maria is married to the artist Pavel Almazov, who appeared in her life at one of the most difficult moments, and still supports her in everything.
The beginning of the way
Masha got on the show not by chance. At the age of 18, she was already the director of a modeling agency, so this was not the first experience in her life. In an interview, she says that after a painful breakup with her boyfriend, a problem arose with finding new housing. Then the decision came to Maria Lesova: to go to the casting in order to solve the housing problem in this way.
She didn’t take anything with her to the competition: a swimsuit, shoes, a dress - all this was given to Masha by a friend who was not old enough. There was no portfolio either, just as there were no special talents: Maria could neither sing, nor dance, nor do the splits. The jury was captivated by her spontaneity and naturalness. So, thanks to sincerity and simplicity, the issue of further residence was successfully resolved - Maria Lesovaya was accepted into the show.
The first season was broadcast on the MUZ-TV channel since April 2001. The show was hosted by Ksenia Sobchak, and the jury included famous photographers, models and fashion designers.
"Top Model in Russian"
On the project, Masha was one of the most “real” participants. She called herself “Vasya from the Urals”, behaved like a “tomboy”, did not choose expressions and did whatever she wanted, which at first greatly irritated the jury and the presenter. Ksenia Sobchak has repeatedly made comments to her regarding her appearance, behavior and manner of speaking. Masha tried to grow and improve, but could not afford to lose her individuality. There were cases that, due to Masha’s shocking behavior, the judges even refused to consider her works at all and allow them to be included in the show. However, in the finale, the qualities that initially hindered the model suddenly played into her hands. Naturalness and straightforwardness prevailed over glossy faces and stereotyped behavior, and Maria Lesovaya became the winner of the project.
After the show
The victory in the show became a landmark event in the biography of Maria Lesova. As a prize, she signed a contract with the Wilhelmina Models modeling agency, a one-year collaboration agreement with MaxFactor, and received a photo shoot for New York Cosmopolitan. In addition, she began to participate in fashion shows, photo shoots and collaborate with famous magazines and designers.
Even during the show, “Russian model, Maria Lesovaya” became famous in New York. Immediately after the end of the project, she was invited to work abroad, but Maria decided for herself that the amount of work she received in St. Petersburg and Moscow was enough for her, and she did not want to go through 40 castings a day. Therefore, the model remained in her homeland.

Everyone who has ever seen Masha in person unanimously repeats that they have never met more versatile person. A girl in sneakers, torn jeans, with a nose ring and almost completely covered in tattoos, changes into an elegant dress and goes to the podium, where she demonstrates extraordinary femininity.
Over time, Masha finally abandoned the image of a standard model. She shaved her head and inserted a ring into the septum. Now the model’s body is almost entirely covered with tattoos, and the color short hair changes from blue to pink, depending on the mood.
Maria knows this one interesting feature, but claims that she never set out to play in contrast. Tattoos and robes are her life, and the podium and elegant dresses- this is her hobby, for which she also receives money. If this combination were not sincere and natural, others would certainly notice the falseness.
From model to donut and back
Maria Lesova's life after the project is like a roller coaster. Enchanting ups are replaced by heavy downs.
There was a difficult moment in Masha’s life when, as a result of serious stress, a hormonal imbalance occurred in her body, as a result of which she sharply gained weight. In his candid posts on official page on Instagram, the model talks about this period as one of the most difficult in her life: “My 17 kg came literally within two weeks.” The path to losing weight, according to Masha, was thorny. She tried sports, diets, and medication, but the results were insignificant and short-lived.
This situation negatively affected the morale of the model, as well as her career. Lesovaya was no longer invited to filming, she disappeared from the pages of magazines for a long time, and all the photos on social networks carefully masked changes in appearance.
The decision came suddenly and turned out to be the only correct one. From friends, Maria Lesovaya learned about the “Kolovada +” system of step-by-step cleansing of the body. This is a set of special powders and vitamins, with the help of which, subject to strict adherence to the rules of administration, a thorough cleansing of the body from waste and toxins is carried out.
After undergoing several cleanses, Maria regained her previous weight, improved her health and found a new occupation in life.

On Masha’s Instagram pages you can see posts with the hashtags #forestpeople or #lesovayateam. Under them, the model posts posts related to her new line of work. She created a whole team of fans of cleansing the body using the Kolovada + system. Under the leadership of Masha different cities groups of people are created who gradually undergo cleansing, communicating on forums and chats, sharing experiences and results with each other. Having returned to her previous body, Maria returned to filming and shows. Now she maintains her blog on Instagram, regularly posting stories where she advertises various salons, gives helpful tips and simply comments on what is happening around.
In addition, she regularly holds meetings of her team of fellow cleaners, under code name"Healthy lifestyle-party". To facilitate the period of cleansing the body, Maria records videos in which she prepares delicious and healthy meals from permitted products, and also supports like-minded people with words and motivating photos.
Maria says that today the meaning of her life is to help people believe in themselves and make life better. She gets great pleasure from realizing how many people will be happier thanks to her advice, and receives an incredible charge of energy from this.

Samvel is Armenian. I was seriously involved in sports for 12 years. Champion of Ukraine in wrestling and combat sambo. The guy had to end his sports career after two operations.
10 guys competed on the show, but only Samvel Tumanyan made it to the finals! And this is not surprising, because he has almost ideal parameters. He is only 19 years old, his height is 185 centimeters, and his measurements are 110-70-100.
Samvel Tumanyan has been involved in sports for 12 years. That is why he can boast practically perfect body and texture. Samvel is the champion of Ukraine in wrestling and combat sambo. Sports career he had to finish after his injuries. He suffered two heavy operations, after which I could no longer play sports. But sports discipline completely helped him reach the finals of the show.
Samvel had no modeling experience at all, but he proved himself to be excellent even at the beginning of autumn, which influenced the decisions of the judges.
Samvel Tumanyan appeared during the fashion show of designer Serge Smolin. Also, as part of Ukrainian Fashion Week SS"18, Samvel presented a collection of the Ukrainian brand Komashnya.
