History of the group's creation

Two friends, two talented musician, two music-obsessed people with a desire to change the world, decided to create a new all-female group that will change the idea of Russian stage. In 2000, successful television producer Dmitry Kostyuk and composer Konstantin Meladze, having analyzed the success of the Spice Girls in the West and Blestyashchie in Russia, joined forces to create a new group that would not only be able to compete with popular groups, but would also become a standard for them.

Since the task was not easy, the work progressed very slowly. The first composition of Viagra took a very long time to recruit. The first to join the group at that time was the TV presenter of the Biz-TV channel, general director which was Dmitry Kostyuk. He invited the talented and smart girl to participate in the project, but she doubted it for a long time, as she preferred rock music. The interest to see what would come of this idea prevailed over doubts, and Vinnitskaya agreed.

Numerous castings did not produce results; the producers could not find those who would fit the group’s format one hundred percent. The first composition of “Viagra” - Alena Vinnitskaya and selected girls Marina Kashchin and Yulia Miroshnichenko - began work on the first compositions, but the result did not satisfy Konstantin Meladze and Dmitry Kostyuk, and they decided to close the project.

After some time, they returned to their unrealized dream and started all over again, only this time they began to be even more demanding of applicants for a place in VIA Gre.

Not a trio, but a duet

It was originally planned that VIA Gra would consist of three amazingly attractive and charming girls who could sing. Desperate to find suitable soloists, the producers thought about creating a solo project with Vinnitskaya. But Nadezhda Granovskaya became an unexpected discovery for them. The girl met all the requirements, the main one being a stunning sexy appearance. Thus, Viagra was finally formed.

“Attempt No. 5” was the name of the girls’ first song, which instantly made them incredibly popular - they literally woke up famous. This happened on the fourth of September 2000, the day after the premiere of the composition on the Biz-TV channel. The debut was awarded the “Golden Gramophone”, “Stopudovy Hit”, “Golden Firebird” and “Golden Weight” awards. The group's first album was released in 2001.

Stop!" and “Good morning, dad.” After Granovskaya returned from maternity leave, the producers decided that two brunettes in the group was too much and destroyed the existing stereotype: a brunette, a blonde and a redhead. Tatyana was asked to leave the project.

After VIA Gra, the girl gave several controversial interviews about her departure from the girl’s team. But Tatyana did not worry for a long time: she created her own group Maybe - although not as successful as VIA Gra. When Anna announced her decision to leave the team, fans rebelled. They practically declared a boycott on the newcomer Svetlana Loboda and refused to accept her as a replacement for the beloved Sedokova. The singer left the group in 2007 to pursue solo career and try your hand at cinema. Brezhnev recorded several hits, played leading roles in the comedies “Love in big city" and "Jungle".

But if anyone thinks that she is unlucky in some way, then it’s not Erica.

I think everything was great for me. I just wanted more.

Six years ago, Erica told herself: “Enough!” And she began to “sculpt” a new herself. She went on a diet, thanks to which she lost more than 30 kilograms, and after graduating from college in Hungary, she moved to Kyiv and became a model. Three years ago, Erica began learning Russian, which she now speaks almost fluently. And although he speaks it with a noticeable accent, he is in no hurry to get rid of it.

By the way, today Erica is the only soloist of the group whose heart is not free. For two years she has been dating a businessman, whose name she keeps secret. And not only because the name of the group is consonant with the name of the drug for increasing male potency: all 13 soloists who changed over the 13 years of the group’s existence - as if by choice, smart and beautiful - were called upon to become the object of not only male, but also universal adoration .

In the 2000s, interest in his team music producer- composer Konstantin Meladze - was phenomenal, even despite the frequent changes of participants. Having received the starting “capital” of fame in the group, the girls either went on a solo voyage, or got married and had children, sometimes combining both. Konstantin Meladze announced the launch of the musical TV show “I Want V VIA Gra”, the winners of which will become new participants in the new “VIA Gra”. The multi-stage telecasting ended in October last year, and three girls from Ukraine received the right to perform in the group - Misha Romanova, Erica Herceg and Anastasia Kozhevnikova. With this lineup, they have already recorded their debut composition “Truce” and shot a video for it, and now they are preparing the next premiere. Speaking about their participation in the group, Misha, Erica and Nastya burst into enthusiastic exclamations. The girls, who became very friendly during the show, admit that they want to work for the benefit of the project at least for all five years stipulated by the contract. And all three are also ambitious in a good way, so full of enthusiasm that they are ready to disappear for days at rehearsals and, it seems, have not yet fully believed in what is happening to them.

Misha Romanova is sure: if you really want something, it will definitely come true. Since childhood, the girl, whose real name is Natalya Mogilevets, dreamed of becoming an artist. One serious drawback could have prevented this - she stuttered badly. As a form of therapy, doctors advised her to take up singing, and at an audition at a local cultural center, Misha was surprised to discover that she did not stutter when she sang. She started studying at vocal studio, and soon music became her passion. True, it was not possible to completely get rid of speech problems, but this does not bother Misha.

Surprisingly, I never stutter on stage.

Stubborn and purposeful, against the wishes of her parents, she decided to devote her life to music and after the ninth grade she set off to conquer Kyiv. Entered the Academy of Variety and circus arts, went solo musical career, and when castings began for the show “I Want V VIA Gro”, on the advice of a friend, Ukrainian singer and composer Max Barskikh, she joined the fight for a place in the team. Today, Misha’s life, like the other two participants, consists of rehearsals, concerts, filming, dance classes and stage speech, but she is only glad for such changes - after all, she is doing what she loves. The only thing Misha is afraid of is catching star fever.

Pop project group Viagra 2018 is still successful, although having again new line-up soloist, tours and regularly delights fans with new hits, is a multiple winner of the Golden Disc, Muz-TV, Golden Gramophone awards, etc.

History of the popular women's team Viagra group started counting on September 3, 2000. In 1999, Ukrainian businessman and owner of the Biz-TV channel Vladimir Kostyuk, inspired by the success of the Russian “Brilliant” and Western “Spice Girls”, decided to launch a similar Ukrainian project. He called Konstantin Meladze to play the role of music producer. One of the first approved soloists was Alena Vinnitskaya, who had previously worked as a presenter on Biz-TV. Thanks to the casting, Meladze and Kostyuk found two more girls: Marina Modina and Yulia Miroshnichenko. But in the process of working on “Attempt No. 5,” it was decided to leave Alena alone and freeze the project for a while, continuing the search for suitable soloists.

When Nadezhda Granovskaya appeared on the horizon, it was decided to retrain the trio into a duet, in which Vinnitskaya got the role of the leading soloist. Initially the group was to be called "Silver". There are several versions about where the name “Viagra” came from. According to one of them, VIA is a vocal-instrumental ensemble, “gra” in Ukrainian means game. Some believe that “Viagra” is a derivative of the surnames and names of vocalists (Vi-Vinnitskaya, A-Alena, Gra-Granovskaya). But the first thing that comes to mind when hearing the word “Viagra” is a famous drug that increases male potency. By the way, bringing out the team V.I.A. "Gra" to the English-language music market, Sony Music management received a pre-trial claim from the tablet manufacturers. Therefore, in the West the group is known under the pseudonym Nu Virgos.

Initially, critics considered Viagra a one-hit wonder and predicted its short-lived fame. But the next one after "Attempt No. 5" dance composition“Hug Me” increased the interest around the group even more. Girls began to be invited to interviews and concerts. By the end of 2000, their repertoire already included seven songs. The first solo concert of the group took place on the stage of the Ice Palace in Dnepropetrovsk on December 20. Alena (Olga) Vinnitskaya was born on December 27, 1974 in the capital of Ukraine. Almost immediately after graduating from school, I met my future husband, who at that time performed in the group “Seven”. Over time, they together changed the name of the group to “The Last Unicorn”, where Vinnitskaya became the author of the music and lyrics of the songs they performed.

From 1997 to 2000, Vinnitskaya successfully combined the professions of a VJ and reporter on music television channels and a DJ on radio stations. On Biz-TV she hosted the Ukrainian Twenty, which was also broadcast on the Russian MTV. It was there that she met Kostyuk, who invited her to the Viagra group. With Alena’s participation, they shot 6 videos, released a debut album, starred in two musicals and recorded several non-album songs.

On January 20, 2003, the girl left the group and began a solo career, performing pop-rock compositions. Among the notable works in this field, it is worth highlighting the compositions “Let's Forget Everything,” which became a shock hit on all Ukrainian charts, and the single “Tormented Heart,” which made it possible to feel the full depth of Alena’s original lyrics.

In 2004 Alena performed with the world famous group"The Cardigans" in the Sports Palace, the largest concert venue Ukraine, and released her first album “Dawn”. The girl still actively performs, records new albums and is active in social activities.

Nadya Meikher was born in the village of Zbruchovka on April 10, 1982. From the age of 11 she attended a folk dance club and performed at various events. After school, Nadezhda entered the choreography department and musical dance to the Khmelnytsky Pedagogical School.

In 2000, the girl passed the casting for the Viagra group, but already in 2002 she left the team due to pregnancy. Tanya was born in St. Petersburg on April 6, 1978. Since childhood, she dreamed of becoming an artist, but after graduating from school she entered the psychological and pedagogical faculty of Herzen University. The girl was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with anxiety-depressive disorder, accompanied by panic attacks and convulsions. The treatment lasted more than 7 years, and in order to pay for it, Tatyana had to sell her jewelry and two apartments.
